Coffee shop, red kites to see and how people feed them, walking around the ponds and observing trees/plants, ducks and birds.

Bwlch Nant yr Arian is a great place for walking, mountain biking and horse riding but for me it's all about the red kites. They are fed daily by the lake at 2pm in winter (GMT) and at 3pm in summer (BST). Follow the accessible Barcud Trail to the viewing area or further around the lake to the large bird hide. On most days over 100 birds will visit. My favourite day out is a trip to nearby Devil's Bridge falls (Pontarfynach) in the morning, then lunch here before seeing the kite feeding.

Perched on a hilltop near Aberystwyth, Bwlch Nant yr Arian is famous for feeding red kites daily. Range of waymarked walking, mountain biking, running and horse-riding trails and a mountain bike skills park. Café, shop and play area.

Great place for walking and mountain biking, really flat and easy walking route round the reservoir. If you go at 2:30 to 3pm in summer (2pm in winter) you will see lots of red kites being fed. There are little information points around the reserve and a lovely bird hide to find too. Pay to park and support the centre.
