Rame, Torpoint PL10 1JY 01752 822345 Superb Chef Matt, stunning food & Views of the Sea
My favourite place.. Fantastic views of Whitsand Bay. Great seafood and a great value set lunch
Amazing view over Whitsand Bay out towards Rame Head and Eddystone Lighthouse and further west along the Cornish coastline to Goonhilly on The Lizard. Fantastic high quality but simple local food cooked to perfection. Menu changes daily - mostly fish and seafood. Opening hours - Lunch: 12.00-2.00…
Not far from JARU and exceptional food and views! I would recommend the lunchtime specials!

School
“Adventure Bay Surf School is Whitsand Bay’s premier surf school and coasteering provider. It's tucked away in South East Cornwall’s stunning ‘Forgotten Corner’ and just a stone’s throw from Plymouth, Liskeard and Looe. Born in 2011, they’ve built a solid reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting and unique surf schools offering quality experiences with a personal touch.”

Museum
“Minions is the highest village in Cornwall, situated on the south east side of Bodmin Moor, home to the Hurlers Stone circle and several other prehistoric monuments. Set in a dramatic landscape, Minions and the surrounding area is a perfect location for walking the Moors. The village sits in a World Heritage designated area for its industrial mining heritage with the remains of the mines scattered all around. Some may also recognise Minions from its starring role in the TV programme Poldark, where the moor to the north featured as the iconic crossroads where Ross first dismounts the carriage on homecoming. The cast and crew found themselves on Bodmin Moor for a large part of their time in Cornwall, the exterior of Ross Poldark’s cottage, Nampara, were also shot on the moor along with many capturing the cast on horseback. The village itself has a pub, a shop and a tea shop where books detailing walks in the area can be bought. ”
