This is a pre-1906 Queen Anne Victorian, with many original finishes and furniture. What isn't original is from the 1920s and is still of great historical interest. Volunteer docent-led tours are required and provided for a donation.

This beautifully maintained and furnished Victorian mansion was built and occupied for generations by members of the Levi-Strauss family, but there's nothing denim about it. Much inside (and out) is original, and so beautiful. You'll learn so much about Victorians and how people (rich people in this case) lived at the turn of the last century. It's now the HQ of SF Heritage, our local architectural preservation non-profit, and they have tours on Wednesdays and Sundays and occassional special events. Check for details on-line.

Marvelous place full of history and beauty- a must see when you visit SF. This beautiful house has some of the original art and furniture that survived the big earthquake and fires of 1906 and 1989.
