At low tide, you can easily walk around the rocks and foreshore from Narrow Neck Beach to Cheltenham Beach. The walk takes around 20 minutes, and if you are feeling fit, you can explore North Head which is accessed from the southern end of Cheltenham Beach.

Nice tidal beach. Long and narrow. At low tide you can walk right out to the channel! Handy to Devonport and North Head, with cafes and restaurants and icecream stores nearby.

Quiet beach. You can get there driving, or by ferry from Britomart. Take the opportunity to also visit Devonport town! Very charming and nice.
