About 40 mins from RD3. Beautiful drive up over the pass. Also tons of hiking!

Beautiful drive in summer. Road closed in winter. Drive over to Georgetown or Idaho Springs for lunch. Take I-70 back or go to the top. Numerous trails to hike. Return the same way. Great winery in Bailey with good food.

Take a scenic drive on Guanella pass! About an hours drive to the top. Amazing views and hiking trails. It is a popular drive in the fall to see the leaves change. During the week there is less traffic. This pass is often closed in the winter so check ahead.

Less than half an hour from Bailey - gorgeous views, animals you don't see everyday, walking, hiking and biking trails for miles.
