Big museum with local lore and gold rush of course. They have a big collection of carriages and wagons. Mark Twain room as well.

Wonderful little museum with indoor and outdoor exhibits about the region, gold mining, Mark Twain and more! The staff is super nice and this is very kid friendly.

About 40 minutes down the hill but a great place to visit and explore. Lots of history about the Gold Country!
