This pub was owned and run by Mark Hix, the famous fish chef, but has now changed ownership. It is about 15 minutes away by car. Booking is strongly advised.

Mark Hix, chef extraordinaire has taken over this quaint country pub in Causcombe, outdoor seating in summer by a bubbling brook. Just lovely with the occasional horse trotting by. Oh and of course the food is excellent.
