When I was in Grade 3, sitting in my Labrador classroom, I saw a picture of The Bugaboos in my geography text book. I know that minute that I wanted to explore the Bugaboos. When I purchased this pad, I did not realize the Bugaboos were less than 100km away.

The Bugaboos are an absolutely stunning area for hiking and wilderness adventures. The soaring granite spires and glacial terrain is jaw dropping beautiful, surrounded by wildflower meadows. Hiking hiking hiking! In the winter the area is fantastic a backcountry ski area.

The drive in is via a rough but well traveled gravel road (closed in winter). Those willing to "travel the gravel" are rewarded with a stunning view of glacier-ringed granite spires. While the view can be admired from a trail head parking lot, hiking trails offer even more spectacular views and climbers from all over the world come to climb those spires.
