Praia da Luz is a welcoming and family friendly atmosphere. Luz is quite and peaceful, but only 5 km away from the major city of Lagos with its extensive shopping, historic centre and buzzing nightlife. Praia da Luz is a small resort town situated on the western Algarve coastline.

Praia da Luz - A small village, 7km from lagos. Enjoy the beach and water activities. Take a walk by the sea from Luz in the direction to Burgau (next small village) come back in half way to Burgau. Is amaizing! Don't forget to take water, shade and some food. Go early in the morning. Don't go to close to the cliffs, is dangerous.
