Super pub, very smart inside with great food and atmosphere. Ideally placed close to Dovedale and Ashbourne and only a 10 minute drive through beautiful countryside from the cottage.

The nearest Watering hole to Stable Barn! The Old Dog is a must visit for beer fans.Good selection of beautifully kept cask and craft Ales and ciders. Tastefully renovated inside and lovely and cosy in the cooler months with the wood burners. Limited food menu with a kind of American diner style.Bookings not taken and can be extremely busy. Very dog friendly so ideal spot to while away an hour or so for those with canine companions!
