A must see when the “Harry Potter” train crosses the viaduct. Why not take the steam train journey yourself, it is described as one of the best rail journeys in the world. Very popular so advanced bookings required but they keep a few tickets available for purchase on the day. At Glenfinnan there is also a visitor centre and monument, which tells the story of the Jacobite Rising in 1745. The centre has a cafe and gift shop
