At Langisandur Beach you can bathe in the ocean and enjoy the view in warm water in Guðlaug, which is a hot pool located in the rockgarden of Langasandur.

Guðlaug is a hot pool located in the rocky area at Langisandur. Guðlaug is a complex on three floors, where the third floor is an observation deck and beneath that, on the second floor, there is a hot pool for sitting. There are showers by the pool and an equipment storage room, and the first floor has a shallow wading pool. The floors are connected by staircases and the staircases also connect the pool to the beach. Guðlaug is defined as a natural pool/recreational pool and is open all year round. Admission to the pool is free of charge and there are changing rooms on the site. 41 min drive

Wanna take a tip at a sexy ass location for the gram? Guðlaug is the place to go. Bring a towel ( Plenty of them in the lower drawer to the right in the bathroom), bathing clothes and your phone. Go ahead and chill there will you take in the view of Reykjavík. If you feel bored, go ahead and dip yourself into the Atlantic Ocean - They say it's healthy, I'm no scientist but that's.. yeah, not really my thing.

Guðlaug hot baths is a must visit if you visit Akranes, which is located 20 minutes by car from our cabin. The baths are located on the beach with view over the sea. We recommend you take a dip in the sea and then warm up in the hot bath.
