Winner of Historic Houses Garden of the Year Award 2020, Mapperton is a glorious sandstone manor house and romantic valley garden deep among tumbling hills and unspoiled countryside. Fifteen acres of gardens descend from the croquet lawn, through the formal topiary down to the wild garden. Coach House Café serve tea, cakes & light lunches.

Home to the Earl and Countess of Sandwich, Mapperton is a glorious sandstone manor house and romantic valley garden. 2020 winner of the Historic Houses 'Garden of the Year' award and voted 'Nation's Finest Manor House' by Country Life. Both Mapperton Gardens and The Coach House Café are open Sundays to Thursdays, 11am to 5pm.

A beautiful house and Italianate gardens with a gorgeous coach house for delicious food and coffee. A really relaxing and interesting place to visit.

Only five miles from Bridport. A lovely old sandstone manor house and gardens. Events throughout the year, such as plant fairs, Easter things for children, concerts. Tickets available for gardens only, or house (guided tour) and gardens.
