Nice trails near the quaint town of Litchfield. My fave is the boardwalk trail over a marsh.

White Memorial has hundreds of acres of land set aside for the enjoyment of the public. Enjoy endless trails of all degrees of difficulty, the boardwalk which winds through marshes or canoeing, fishing and kayaking on its waterways.

20 minutes to well marked trails and cross marshes. Traverse an unspoiled forest that is comfortably walked through and bright. Greet the wild bird caretakers lovingly homed after injury. In the heart of historic Litchfield there are many local eateries.
