My recent stay in Thiruvannamalai was nothing short of delightful. The location of the accommodation was a pleasant surprise, offering a serene escape from the usual urban clamor. Tucked away from noises, it provided a peaceful ambiance, creating the perfect retreat. The room was impeccably clean, and the simplicity of its design added to the overall comfort. After a fulfilling visit to the Arunachaleswarar Temple, returning to such a well-maintained space was truly refreshing. One of the notable aspects was the proximity of other hotels, making it convenient to explore nearby amenities. Thiruvannamalai's unique charm, coupled with the tranquility of the accommodation, made my short stay a thoroughly enjoyable and rejuvenating experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful retreat in this spiritually rich city.

You can find many good Airbnb listings, but it is rare to find an exceptional host like Gaurav. The beautiful altar he has lovingly created for his Guru in his living room lends a beautiful energy to the place. Gaurav is very responsive, always willing to help and the unit is within walking distance to Ramanasramam, cafes and shops.

Bala’s Mountain House exceeded my expectations, even though I’d chosen carefully based on all the great reviews. It was even better than I imagined! You can’t beat the location, close to everything but on a quiet street so not too noisy. Bala and his family live on the ground floor and he’s super responsive to any needs. He always responded within an hour or so and took care of things that day. He supplies jugs of water and carries them up to you! It’s a great unit with fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfy beds and nice linens, and a living area. It’s just one floor up, so not too many stairs. And I didn’t hear anything from the other units the whole time. Internet works fine for zoom and regular things online. AC (just in one bedroom) and hot water (in the bathroom) work well. The rooftop view for darshan of Lord Arunachala is truly amazing. And being a few doors down from Inner Child restaurant is so great. I felt right at home immediately and can’t wait to return next year!

I would genuinely like to state that mere words are not sufficient enough to describe the beauty that is present all around in this property. The nature all around; beautiful trees, singing birds, pesky insects, colourful butterflies the smell of fresh mud - it encapsulates everything that one requires in having a true "getaway experience". I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Tara's property in Tnmalai. The caretaker was very genuine and helpful, respectful and assisted whenever called upon. There is as much privacy as you require and when you don't, you can sit in with the trees and breeze and enjoy yourself to the tunes of nature's disarray. I enjoyed everything about the stay, no qualms whatsoever. I hope everyone of you reading this gets a chance to experience staying here atleast once. All thanks to the host, Tara, once again. Great apartment in a good location. It's a 7-10 minute walk from Ramanashramam and the apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. Lovely view of Arunachala from the roof top. Bala was an accommodating and friendly host, I would definitely book again and recommend this to anyone.

This is the second time our family stayed at Sadhana Kuteer. This is great, clean and positive place for family or individuals going to Tiruvannamalai for spiritual purposes. Host is very friendly and responsive. There were quite a few last minute changes from my side due to unforseen circumstances. The host was friendly and accomodated all our last minute changes.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Besonders zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant im Haus. Immer frisch zubereitete Gerichte zu einem tollen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Das Shiva Shakti Haus ist ein wunderbarer, außergewöhnlicher Ort in Thiruvannamalei mit einer unglaublich guten Energie. Happy ist ein toller Gastgeber, der sich immer toll kümmert und dem es sehr am Herzen liegt, dass seine Gäste eine gute Zeit haben. Danke & bis zum nächsten Mal!
