This is a self contained suite with keypad entry. There is a combo washer & dryer unit in the suite. We also rent our car on Turo! Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Our quiet family neighbourhood is only 15.8 km (10 miles) or 25 minutes to the bustling downtown.

Great for couples. 5 mins from Cordova Bay beaches, Elk Lake, Mattick’s Farm, Gigis Deli & market, Adrienne's Restaurant, Cordova Bay Golf Course, Mount Douglas & more. 15 mins from the ferry & DT (by car). Enjoy a king sized bed and a loveseat for watching TV. The loveseat is not big enough to sleep. Pls inform me of any breakfast preferences.
