We had a great stay at the apartment. It was beautiful and everything was tidy. Communication was good and uncomplicated. It is a little outside of the city centre but that‘s no problem at all, we could easily walk by foot. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Bernd's. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is perfect for nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet but it is also very easy to reach nice beaches and the villages in the surrounding. Bernd was also very kind to let us having a late check-out. I would definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

Bernd's place is a true find, perched elegantly above the village and enveloped by a serene forest. The experience is uniquely enhanced by scattered artworks – captivating pieces that provoke thought and possess a strangely compelling, almost uncanny beauty. Reaching the house by car is a bit of an effort but doable and a pleasant stroll leads down to the charming, albeit small, village centre. Inside, the cottage is delightfully inviting, clean, and remarkably well-equipped for comfort and convenience – from efficient heating to a handy blender. A special mention must go to Katy, the resident feline, whose affectionate nature was a genuine bonus. We were thoroughly captivated by both the residence and its strategic location, which serves as an excellent springboard for exploring both the popular Algarve and the often-overlooked Atlantic coast. Do not miss the latter; its dramatic cliffs and singular landscape offer a breathtaking counterpoint to the southern shores. A superb stay!

Thank you Pete for letting us stay in this beautiful flat in Sagres. It is spacious and light where you can see both sunrise and sunset. Beach and shops are close by and it is also in a quiet area, which was great for is as a family. We would visit again!

We have stayed as Sam's place more than once, it's in a great location, near the beach, restaurants and shops. It's a nice spacious apartment, plenty of room for us, my daughter and her partner and baby. Sam is always quick to respond and nothing is too much trouble, even leaving us with vital supplies for our later arrival! We will definitely be back!

Un lugar perfecto como base de operaciones para conocer la zona. El apartamento es muy espacioso y tiene todo lo necesario. La terraza es magnífica y el piso en general es exactamente como se muestra en las fotos. La comunicación con Ian fue muy fluida y agradable. Eché en falta, por poner alguna pega, un estor o persiana/cortina en la cocina, ya que da al pasillo de entrada, por donde pasa gente, y no tiene nada de intimidad. Quitando eso, inmejorable todo. Burgau es un pueblo precioso, hay tiendas y bares cerca y la zona es muy tranquila.

Schöne kleine Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. Von hier aus lassen sich alle möglichen Orte rund um Sagres bis Portimão schnell anfahren.

We were told that because of overbooking issues we were being upgraded. We were taken to a 3 bed villa close to our original 1 bed apartment. The villa was very clean and well furnished and resourced.

Eine wunderschöne und geräumige Unterkunft. Alle Zimmer haben eigene Bäder und die Lage könnte kaum besser sein.

Wir kommen wieder. Die Lage in Sagres ist perfekt. Nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand Mareta oder 15 Minuten nach Tonel oder Martinhal. Etliche weitere Strände sind mit dem Auto in 5-10 Minuten zu erreichen. Viele Restaurants sind ebenso in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht - Danke an dieser Stelle auch für die suer Tipps! Das Ferienhäuschen ist perfekt um die Ferien in der Algarve zu geniessen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist ein sehr guter und angenehmer Ort um sich nach dem Surfen oder Strandgängen im Garten oder Wohnzimmer zu erholen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und stehen jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Marietta und Raphael sehr empfehlen. Wir sind sehr glücklich mit der Wahl dieser Unterkunft.

Alda and Hernani’s place was a super comfortable house for the week in Sagres. I felt completely at home, loved the location and the small restaurants nearby. Hernani shared lots of tips for beaches, walks (and runs) in the area. Super responsive and really nice hosts.

Great location. A little bit of noise at night, but so close to beaches and town. Good place to relax and enjoy the surf. Ana and her family are great hosts

Wir waren 4 Wochen in der Wohnung und haben uns gänzlich wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist schön gelegen und läd zum spazieren gehen ein… In der Beschreibung stand glaube ich was von einem privaten Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück und einen eingezäunten Garten. Das gab es beides nicht. Allerdings kann man vor der Kirche problemlos öffentlich parken und die zwei Terrassen reichten uns völlig zum erholen an der frischen Luft aus. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief schnell und sehr hilfsbereit ab. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder Laura

It was great to stay at Vila Mareta place! Joana, the co-host, was super easy to communicate with and she was very friendly in her responses. The house was lovely, spacious, clean, and comfortable! GREAT location. And the best Pastelaria place is just next door. We would definitely repeat the experience. Muito obrigada!

We both loved our time in Ingrina 1 , a short stroll from the beach and the local beach restaurant, we swam walked the Fisherman’s way and ate in a myriad of good fish restaurants. A month well spent ! Peter & Rebecca Kenny

This place was amazing! super clean all the amenities need for a long stay. Walking distance to Lagos centre and marina and lots of parking around the apartment Host was super helpful and responsive. This is a very worthwhile stay would highly recommend!

We loved Ana's place! We loved the honesty in photos, amenities listed (and actually included) and the large balcony with ample furniture and great sea view from main living area + bedroom. But it's also about all the little things where she went above and beyond what most properties do. A luggage stand, North American adapter plugs, ice cube trays, wine glasses, 2 kinds of coffee makers, coffee pods, spices, laundry + DW soap, beach chair, umbrella and such. So many places hardly provide toilet paper! Co-host Joao was prompt with communication and meeting us at arrival and helpful with location orientation, restaurants, grocery stores ... great with detail and making sure we have all supplies. Short walk to Old Town Lagos restaurants, kayaking and boat trips and the very popular Ponta da Piedades boardwalk. I would highly recommend Ana's place!

This place has a tremendous view of the city and the ocean. It’s a pleasure each day waking up to the seaside view. There are a few dogs and chickens in the surroundings but nothing big to worry about. The apartment was very clean, has lots of space and the location was perfect - easy to walk (5 min) to the centre of Lagos to go out for dinner or drinks. Free parking on the street outside the building. João was very kind.

Great location, walking distance to town centre and beaches and boardwalk. 8 minute walk to the supermarket. This was a great stay, condo had everything we needed. Pool is huge and while it was cold, our kids still swam in it. Overall a great stay!

I travel a lot and this was one of my favorite Airbnbs. The location is amazing! Right next to the beach and boardwalks along the cliffs. Small mini market only a minute away and about 10-15 min walk to Lagos town. The check in procedure was detailed and easy to do (although I was supposed to check in on Tuesday evening but my flight was delayed so wasn’t a problem to check in Wed morning) The place is well stocked in the kitchen if you want to cook like we did. The bed was super comfortable and we loved hanging out on the veranda. I thought the price was great for all that the place offered and again - loved the location for peacefulness and quiet Our host was amazing. From the moment I booked it until checking out this morning, she couldn’t have been more helpful and clear instructions on everything We were sad to leave this morning but I will be recommending this place to family and friends and gets a well deserved 5 ⭐️ in my opinion

This is one of the nicest places we've stayed, and we travel a lot. The location was wonderful - near the beach with lots of walking paths, but still close to things to do and restaurants. The place was comfortable and well-appointed with lots of kitchen tools. The beds were really comfortable and the sitting areas, both inside and out were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return and/or recommend it to friends.

Tout était parfait ! Sauf un petit peu de fuit car près de la route. Mais ça va …. C’est supportable.
