We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

A quiet location at the edge the national park, with spectacular mountain walks virtually outside the front door, as well as amazing views of the Welsh mountains from every window. Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The cabin as heating on at all times, but if you want that wow factor, light up the log fire and just relax. (If you have never lit a log burner we can show you how to do it)
