Cottontail Cottage - Snowshoes, Fireplace & Sauna

Quiet and peaceful cottage in a beautiful setting. Located on 6 acres adjacent to the Shelburne Pond Nature Reserve and only 15 min to the Church Street Marketplace in downtown Burlington. Enjoy the sunrise over the hills behind the cottage and sunsets over the Adirondacks to the west. Sit in the chairs or chaise lounge in the private backyard listening to the birds or relax in the shared sauna after a day of skiing or snowshoeing. (The sauna is available by reservation to ensure your privacy.)

Enjoy the peace and privacy of your own beautifully-appointed basement suite! The entrance is not regularly used by our family and you can come and go as you wish. The suite includes modern lighting, a bathroom with a jet tub, a kitchenette and breakfast bar, and covered parking. An outdoor seating area is reserved for your sole use - perfect for relaxing and letting your dog out. 120V EV charging available for add'l fee No cats allowed, sorry! This guest house has been built and designed by my husband and I. It sits behind our house with private walking/biking trails right out your door. The design is modern with natural warm colors and tucked away in the trees. The loudest noise you will hear are the owls hooting and a faint distant train whistle two times a day. Our mission is to create an atmosphere of tranquility, calmness and peace. We offer mother nature outside your door with easy access to all the activities you desire.

Surrounded by gardens and not far from downhill skiing and hiking options, swimming, sailing, dining and Lake Champlain.

This newly built modern rustic mother-in-law private cottage offers a convenient place to stay while exploring the Burlington/Winooski area. The cottage is nestled in my backyard on a quiet street in vibrant Winooski. The home is a 10 minute drive to downtown Burlington & the airport, and a short walk to the river, several cafes, restaurants, pubs, nature areas, and a brewery. Winooski is referred to as “the Brooklyn of Burlington” because of the foodie scene and rich cultural diversity.

Despite being removed from the hustle and bustle of city life, The Spring Hill House is still centrally located, providing easy access to some of Vermont's most popular destinations. Please note: We have a firm no kids policy due to the open loft and stairs.

Experience the ultimate Vermont retreat in our newly renovated second-story guest space nestled in a charming barn, offering breathtaking easterly views of the Green Mountain range, including the majestic Camels Hump and Bolton peaks. This hilltop cabin is cocooned by lush trees and verdant pastures, providing an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Kayak, swim or paddleboard on nearby Lake Iroquois 2 miles away or Lake Champlain 9 miles away.

Guest Suite w/hot tub & fireplace

Our property in Vermont is a slice of heaven: Set between Burlington & Stowe, 10 minutes off the main highway I-89, with quick access to the main spots in Vermont, but tucked down a dirt road with nothing but the sounds of the stream. On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. With access to a hot tub, and hiking trails right outside the door, this space is a brand new build with cozy cabin vibes.

Nestled in Burlington's Hill Section, The Garden Studio offers comfort and elegance to guests who will enjoy the king bed and stone fireplace. The mini kitchen area has a view of the courtyard with its seasonal fountain, flowers and bird feeders. You will enjoy the central location with walkable access to Burlington's famed Church Street Marketplace, the vibrant South End Arts District as well as the University and Lake Champlain.
