Thanks to Julia’s precise directions, I was able to find the property in a pitch black night. It was so nice to be welcome by deers in the field, and get to a warm and clean house. The room was cozy and comfortable (great beds, pillows ans comforters). The view from the room is stunning. Nice touch with a buffet corner with a choice of tea/coffee, oatmeal and fresh fruits. Will come back!

I’m a repeat customer because Deborah was such a wonderful host last November when I visited. She has many small touches - fresh flowers in the room, morning toast and coffee - and is very attentive to her guests.

Another relaxing, enjoyable stay at Valerie's. My favorite place to stay in Saranac. House is always spotless, warm welcoming fireplace, comfortable sleeping and a hot tub! Visiting my son at PSC for Easter. Nearby grocery and plenty to do in the area. I love the quiet and being surrounded by the trees.

Place was nice and peaceful spot. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Gary's home very much. It was exactly what home sharing should be; we had privacy, but we felt at home in Gary's house. He shared his time with us, welcoming us into his space (we even had a parking space in his garage!). He made breakfast each morning and we enjoyed chatting and sharing stories over coffee. His home is very comfortable and is located in a most beautiful setting with expansive views of the fields, hills and mountains. Downtown Burlington is only 20 minutes away. There are shopping opportunities and eating establishments along the way if needed. We did a short and sweet morning hike up Mt Philo located just down the road, but Camel's Hump is also nearby (you can see it from Gary's deck) if something more rigorous is desired. We heartily recommend Gary's place and hospitality.

Our stay was very comfortable. The house was very clean, very nicely decorated, warm and inviting. Could not have asked for a better stay.

Cozy studio walking distance to downtown Burlington. Linda was a great host with awesome recommendations. We had a great time and hope to come back.

We were very happy with Deb’s home. It had everything we needed. Beautifully renovated, we all commented the beds were so comfortable. Walking distance to restaurants, grocery store ect.

We had three very nice nights! The apartment was bigger than we anticipated and very well appointed. It’s right on a busy corner, so we heard the snowplows during the night (lots of snow!!), but was otherwise peaceful with the sound of the river. Joe was very flexible with dates when we had to shift because of weather. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Wonderful stay! Very clean and inclusive of all amenities. Host was very available and helpful. Delicious, host provided, breakfast basket to enjoy with our coffee. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful back porch with table and chairs which was a great spot to take in the sunsets and sunrises on Lake Champlain. Amazing lake views! Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience staying at Laura's house! The house was exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. It was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to Placid Lake and in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

We stayed here for a hockey tournament for four days and three nights. My husband and I shared the bedroom with our 3yo and our 12yo slept on the pull out couch. It was the perfect size! The house was clean and in an amazing location!! There is so much to do 10 steps out of the front door. Sonny was extremely helpful and responsive. Thanks again for allowing us to stay at your place!!

Really great place! It really feels like a home with all that they offer. Really great homemade breakfasts and fresh baked cookies in the evenings. Love it!

Cozy B&B, very comfortable and close to Lake Placid village. Walls are a bit thin. Hosts are friendly and welcoming.

Great spot in the ADK! Marjorie made us a little coffee cake, coffee, and fruit for us. We really appreciated it! Fireplace was very cozy

Rose & Anatoly are lovely. Their care and preservation of the inn is evident everywhere. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Our room had the cutest bathroom, with lots of space and hangers in the bedroom. No shoes at breakfast felt more like a luxury than an imposition, it created a casual and relaxing way to wake up. We had an exceptional time in an exceptional place.

Lara's place is just as described, peaceful, quiet and nestled in serene surroundings. The kitchen has all the amenities one could wish for and is well stocked and easy to get groceries to do my own cooking. The suites are beautiful and comfortable, just what i needed after a hard day working. I spent a work working and it was great to come "home" to the peace and quiet of the Homestead. Highly recommended!

Karyl has hosting down to a perfection! We were late arrival in Karyl was up waiting for us. Their house is perfectly clean and was beautifully decorated for Christmas! The lake views were amazing. She had breakfast waiting for my daughter and I when we came downstairs. They had some great local recommendations for us. Would stay again. Thank you Karyl!

Chalet Whiteface was exactly what my boys and I were looking for to facilitate a weekend of hiking in ADK. Allison is an excellent host: very accommodating, focused on making sure that we were comfortable, and always up for a chat. Her place has a cozy feel to it, beds were clean and comfortable, and satisfying breakfasts were served in a comfy lodge common area. The food, drink, and live music (Saturday) at the pub provided the perfect end to a long day of beautiful fall hiking. This is the place to go if you're looking to be hosted by another human being, not a corporation. Stayed here last fall, will be returning next fall.

What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!
