We loved this Airbnb! Although we were stuck in Lake Placid in the middle of a snowstorm, Debra’s place had everything we needed for getting snowed in, including games and toys for our toddler. She also provided a high chair and mini crib, which were less things we had to pack. And our toddler loved the toys she had more than the ones we brought! The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook, and the location of the Airbnb was right down the road from the Main Street in Lake Placid with great restaurants and shops. The Airbnb was very cozy, and beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve sleep in! Lastly, Debra was very kind, helpful, and responsive offering local recommendations. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again the next time we visit Lake Placid!

We had a blast at the cabin for New Year’s celebrations. The house was very clean and organized. The driveway was very steep as described- luckily we had an SUV! The gas fireplace was beautiful and we could see the the fireworks show from the fire pit on our lakefront. We are already discussing our next trip back!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Awesome quiet spot with friendly hosts. Lots of land to explore in a great area. Trails on their land and across the street. So easy to relax or be active.

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

We loved staying here and will be back again! The primary bed and bath are especially lovely and felt very cozy on the cold mid winter nights during our stay.

Kate's home was all and so much more that we were hoping for. Prior to checking in Kate provided us with an opportunity to ask any questions which she answered in a timely fashion. She also has a board where any additional information you might need is. The home is so close to local attractions and only about 20mins from Whiteface. It immediately felt like home when we walked in. Comfortable couches and beds, plenty of linens and cozy blankets. Kate has decorated her home so well. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with any thing you could need. We were thrilled to bring our dogs with us to enjoy some snow. The fully fenced backyard was large and the perfect place for the dogs to run! Kate we can't thank you enough for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Highly recommend Kate's home. We hope to be back next year!

Perfect place to stay while hiking in Placid. Also, the hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking. We have stayed at phoebes place twice now and it was clean, we had everything we needed and phoebe is very kind!

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Amazing suite on second floor of motel. HUGE beautiful kitchen/family room with amazing 360 windows and views! Kitchen is beautiful. Tile floors heated!! Lots of storage for ski equipment. Bathrooms large and clean. Only one bedroom with kind size bed but huge! 2 roll away beds in closet and 3 closets are so large that we had our kids on the roll aways in those. All in all fantastic rental and would absolutely stay again!!

Genuinely even better than anticipated. Place is bigger than it looks, very spacious, clean, all amenities, great location, quick response from hosts. Loved every moment.

Beautifully kept home with all the necessary amenities. Had a good time with family and kids. Anna was very responsive and accommodating. The games room, hot tub and sauna was great.

This place is wonderful and within walking distance to the lake and the main town. It is also very close to the golf course which must be nice in the warmer months. We were there in the winter; the home was cozy and had everything our family of four needed. We also used the hotel pool and gym. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and well stocked with anything you need. Make sure to follow directions for which door to enter through to make sure you’re entering the right space!

Such a beautiful private cabin. Walked around the two small ponds each morning. Perfect location to visit my niece at Paul Smiths. Comfy bed, tons of pillows, plenty warm (we had rain and snow while I was there). I wasn't able to enjoy the small deck because of the weather, but looking out the picture window all day while I remote worked was wonderful. Although Jillian said the wi-fi may not be the 'best', I had no issues with being on multiple TEAMS and Zoom meetings all day and using two laptops. She must have improved this feature. I also got to watch two movies on Netflix, thank you. Jillian, I will be recommending your little cabin to every one of my family members as they go visiting up in your area. It is leaps and bounds better than the last two places I stayed. Jackson is a little sweetheart, he came by each morning to say hello. Sully enjoyed it also. Thank you. Carol.

This was our 4th time staying with Roy and Karen. This property never disappoints! Peaceful with stunning views in a great location. We look forward to returning for a 5th trip.

The house was very comfortable and well furnished. The Murphy bed in the office/bedroom was not quite as expected. Luckily there was plenty of room in the basement for my kids to sleep on the couch. The Murphy bed was not functional for sleeping. Everything was well stocked and we really appreciated having soaps And items available.

We loved our stay at Cary’s place! It was so peaceful in the woods yet so close to town and all of the activities. Cary was very helpful especially with the amount of snow we got! We would definitely return!

I saw someone else's review that said it restored their faith in AirBnB, and after the better part of a week at the Chalet, I can get behind that sentiment. To start, the place was clean... Like immaculately clean. You can tell that care was put into refreshing the place before we arrived. The furnishings and interior design were so well put together we actually took away design ideas for our own space. The hot tub was sparkling clean and at temp when we arrived which was a perfect way to start our getaway after a long drive. Daniel was communicative without interfering in our stay. We didn't want to leave, and we're already planning to be back sometime next year!

-We enjoyed the cottage feel. -Even though it was close to the other cottage, we enjoyed our own space and privacy. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable— I’m hard to please and usually bring my own pillow, but I forgot it. -Our dog was happy that he could go outside, sniff around, and do his business in the fenced in yard. -One suggestion is to dial back the room freshener. We are both scent sensitive. There were some nice smells— pine and cinnamon— but it was a lot for those of us with allergies and finicky noses. Don’t let that turn you away! A plug-in can be removed! -This rental is a class act— tasteful and practical. We loved it, will recommend it to friends, and will probably book it again! Thank you, Sharon, for paying attention to the details. They really matter. Nice job!

As last time, we enjoyed our stay there :)
