This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

It was our first trip to Canada from Ohio and we had a great stay at Wayne and Catherine’s place. Their communication was quick and clear. The place was so clean and had plenty of towels, beach towels, toiletries, and even bug spray. My daughters appreciated the board games and beach toys. Despite years of staying at Airbnbs, this was our first time staying while the owners shared the house and we had a positive experience. They gave us space and privacy while being available for questions. They had a tent and beach chairs setup for us. They were accommodating and so kind! We had rain all weekend but still had such a relaxing time. We drove to Grand Bend for lunch and my daughters wanted to go back to the Airbnb and play at the beach. There was a wedding nearby when we arrived and we got to watch the fireworks. We created great memories here. Thank you Wayne and Catherine!

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

Enjoyed our time in the area. I'm from the lake area and enjoyed being centrally located to friends and family. Its a quiet location for the most part. Commonly refered to as a carriage house, located over the garage, you do here conversations and comings and goings of people adjacent to the property. We found everything we needed in the apartment. Bed was firm. which we enjoy, very cofortable. Linens were nice and served our stay well. Heating and cooling worked well and there was ample hot water. It takes a bit to reach the upstairs, but once it does, the pressure is good. Be aware that the stairway up is quite steep...may not be suitable for some. There are hand rails and a light in the stairway. There are a number of restaurants in the area...M29 diner is a favorite and Marine City Fish Company just up the river is also one of our area favorites. We would maybe stay here again if in the area, but think we prefer fully private dwellings.

My wife and I had an awesome stay at Olivia’s place in Courtright. The place looked just like the pictures—honestly, even better in real life. Super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. All the little touches were there, which made it feel like home. Olivia was a great host—really friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again and totally recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Super amazing stay! The outside was absolutely stunning, and fun at the same time. You can see the house from across the canal, it’s so neat! Daniel and Janet are so wholesome and amazing! Met them and never really saw them again, but excellent hosts!

This home was one of the BEST Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in! Extremely clean, sooo comfortable, very spacious, and just perfect! Doreen is an AMAZING host! She was able to accommodate our early check in, and with the unexpected snow, they shoveled the driveway and walk way for us! Communication was great, the home was huge and beautiful. I cant say enough, that this home was super CLEAN! Right on the lake with amazing views! The 4 full bathrooms made this home perfect for our group of 5 adults. We want to stay here every time we are in michigan. You wont regret renting this home!! Oh and the fireplace made the home nice and cozy!!

I cannot say enough good words about our experience! We had a leadership work retreat and the location was perfect. The house is absolutely beautiful and it felt just like home the second you walked through the door. The view from the back deck is breath taking with easy access to the beach. Shay was extremely nice and checked in on us via text over the weekend as well, which was nice and comforting. Highly recommend going through Shay!

Man the house is great! View is awesome! Exactly as advertised, plenty comfortable for a work crew, all the bathrooms, it was great, wish I had more work this way! Haha Host was also super accommodating, definitely recommend!

We had a very pleasant stay at the Lotus Lake Retreat. The inside of the property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did not spend much time outside due to family living on the lake and celebrating a birthday party. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at Katherine’s place with my boyfriend for a night and it’s so charming!! We had the best time, I’m only hoping to be able to go back sometime soon. The entire place is very moody. I couldn’t recommend it more!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Jeff’s AirB&B! Beautiful home, easy to get to, super clean and well furnished. We would definitely stay again at this lovely place the next time we have an event in St. Clair!

Place was great and was as advertised. The property could probably use a deeper clean. The weather did not cooperate so weren’t able to utilize the outdoor area.
