fabulous villa in a great setting. plenty of brilliant restaurants offering value food within easy walking distance. if you have a car, there are some great options near volimes also. the host was superb - great instructions and very responsive without being obtrusive. couldn't have wished for better.

There aren’t enough stars for this place. It was very comfortable. Philip was awesome to deal with, and was responsive to the requests we had. The place is like new. It is very safe, and the pool was like a spa. Philip provided a few groceries and drinks to make us feel very welcome! If we are ever back in Zakynthos, we will go back for sure!

We had an amazing vacation at the villa! The property is even better in reality than it seems in the photos, especially the sunsets and ocean views. The house was extremely clean and very well equipped. Reizi as a host was very friendly, welcoming and responsive, always making sure we’d have the best time possible. We will definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay. Spyros was so helpful and responsive. The property was clean and as described. We stayed out of season but there were a few tavernas open which we could walk to (Babbis taverna around 20 minutes walk was fantastic). The property was 5 minutes from the beautiful beach. There were a couple of things that came up that I had to contact Spyros about and he came back to me immediately sorting anything within 10 minutes. We felt so at home at the property and would loved to have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

Prachtige villa in het noorden van Zakynthos, geheel privé gelegen aan een klein weggetje omhoog vanaf het adembenemende strand van Makris Gialos Beach. Weg van het massatoerisme, met zicht op de zee, een villa die van alle gemakken is voorzien. Met ook nog eens een heerlijk zwembad. De communicatie en verzorging door de hosts was uitzonderlijk goed en zeer snel en behulpzaam. Het noorden van Zakynthos is wat ons betreft ook het mooiste deel, iets ruiger, bergachtiger en ongerepter dan andere delen van het eiland. Met ook nog eens heerlijke restaurantjes, na elke bocht met onze huurauto weer een ander verbluffend uitzicht en veel van de mooiste strandjes op korte afstand. Elke avond was het echt ‘thuiskomen’ bij het huis. Met nog een plons in het zwembad, zicht op de zee met een opkomende maan, het geluid van de uilen en een stille nachtrust. En dan met de ochtendzon weer ontwaken! Een topweek! Dank aan Francesco en zijn team!

Der Aufenthalt war ein absoluter Traum. Die Besitzer der Villa sind unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend. Der Pool ist super saubere und das ganze Anwesen genau wie auf den Bildern. Es war eine tolle Zeit! (Man benötigt aber auf jeden Fall ein Auto, um einzukaufen, zu Stränden zu gelangen oder die Stadt zu erkunden.)

C’était juste incroyable , villa de rêve avec une vue de rêve sur la mer avec la piscine à débordement. La communication avec l’hôte est parfaite ,accueille super , gentil, vous pouvez venir ici les yeux fermés. ( oui il faut une voiture pour profiter de l’île , je dirais comme dans chaque îles presque ;) ) quelques adresses de restaurant situé à côté de la villa ( 5-6 min à pied ) notamment le restaurant Orizontes qui est superbe.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It exceeded our expectations. I don’t even know where to start. Maria was a wonderful host. So friendly and helpful and she even gave our daughter a lovely gift. She was there to meet us when we arrived and even took our suitcases in for us. On top of that she had water some wine and some essentials in the villa waiting for us. That personal touch made us feel right at home. The villa itself is stunning, modern, spacious and clean. There are TVs in all the rooms with Netflix which was great for our daughter when she wanted some quiet time. The outside area is perfect. We didn’t use it but there is a barbecue. There is also an outside toilet and shower. The pool is perfect. Nice and cool. We swam in it happily then dried off on the numerous sun beds. There’s also a hammock but only our daughter was brave enough to get in. It is ideal if you have a car. A few taxi drivers didn’t seem to know the area but most were helpful and would take our phones with the directions. I love how it’s off the beaten path so it’s like an oasis in the middle of the island but there is still Plenty within short driving distance. We managed to travel all over the island and it was lovely to come back to the villa and sit outside with some wine. There is also a small shop nearby with necessities and lovely pies and cakes. Every room has air conditioning which is lovely in the evening and blackout blinds which make for a great sleep. We all commented on the super comfortable beds so don’t worry you will definitely get a comfortable sleep. I honestly cannot say one bad thing about this place and I sincerely hope we get to return one day.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in idyllischer Lage Zu Beginn müssen wir sagen, dass die Aussicht vor Ort noch besser als auf den Fotos ist! Die Villa liegt ruhig und abgelegen – ideal, wenn man dem Trubel entkommen und entspannen möchte. Die Umgebung ist sehr naturverbunden und bietet eine schöne Atmosphäre zum Abschalten. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen haben uns die große Terrasse mit Pool und der herausragende Ausblick – perfekt, um morgens in Ruhe einen Kaffee zu trinken, die Sonne zu genießen oder den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Auch die Gastgeber waren super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung in einer besonderen Umgebung suchen. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen! Vielen Dank für alles!

We were three families with six adults and five children, so we really appreciated that Anta’s villa is so big. Also the pool area, bbq and tennis court are all lovely and make keeping the kids busy very easy. Anta set up for Maria and Anastasia to cook for us a couple of times- I would highly recommend that as the food was great and the ladies very kind and helpful. Anta also gave us many helpful recommendations. The villa is in a convenient location in the countryside but not too far from zakynthos so it’s easy to get to many things to do. Overall we had a lovely time, the house was lovely and perfect for a big group, Anta and her team were very kind and helpful to us. Thanks a lot!

We really loved our stay here, literally have no complaints! I came here with 7 of my friends to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was perfect! Nikos and Aris and their family were such wonderful hosts, always quick responses for whatever we needed and gave us plenty of recommendations! A beautiful air BnB, exactly as the photos show and had everything we needed, very comfortable and clean - it was perfect. Thank you Nikos and Aris for being so welcoming and great hosts!! I highly recommend to anyone visiting Zakynthos and I’m sure we will be back again :)

Het verblijf in de mooie villa van Andreas was geweldig. Zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bij aankomst stonden er kleine snacks en een volle fruitschaal voor ons klaar. Het huis was brandschoon en werd tussendoor schoongemaakt en voorzien van schone lakens en handdoeken. Echt een geweldige service. Andreas reageerde altijd snel op vragen en gaf ook allemaal tips voor wat wij in de omgeving konden doen. Er waren veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Kortom, wij zouden deze villa van harte aanbevelen.

Athina nous a chaleureusement accueilli dans les villas à l'emplacement unique avec sa vue sur la crique de Porto Limnionas. Vous serez très bien accueillis dans la taverne tenue par la famille d'Athina au pied de la villa qui permet de ne pas avoir besoin de prendre sa voiture malgré l'emplacement unique et assez isolé.

Villa Meralia was fantastic for our family of five. There are four double bedrooms but we only used the three in the main house as the fourth (en suite) was only accessible through the garden. There are plenty of areas to relax and dine inside and out. The mini golf and giant chess were a hit for us. You will definitely need a car if you want to eat out or explore the island. There are lots of small coves and beaches on the west of the island which are worth exploring so take sea shoes for the kids. Giota was so helpful snd friendly and provided lots of suggestions of where to eat, and arranged an introduction to the boat hire company. We were delighted to find wine, water and pomegranates on an arrival! Highly recommended.

A little tricky to find the road that led to the house but the host responded immediately to our call and led us there. This house is beautifully decorated and made to feel like home. The views from the house and pool area are fantastic. Very peaceful and secluded but with easy access to many beaches. The hosts are very friendly and the whole stay felt like we were hosted by family

We had a great stay at this lovely villa! The house is exactly as you would expect from the pictures, is a short walk to the main town (or drive if you prefer) and a sparkling pool really makes all the difference. Spyros was easy to communicate with, always available as needed, and provided great recommendations before we arrived for spots across the island. Thank you Spyros!

We went as a family and we had an amazing time, the villa was excellent, surrounded by local shops and bakery’s all of which were run by very friendly and helpful people, we would definitely recommend if your looking for a relaxing holiday with beautiful surroundings. The host and the people looking after the villa on a daily basis were amazing when anything was needed or just for general questions. We will definitely be returning one day many thanks

Before we arrived we were sent details of places to visit and other information so we could be prepared before our stay. Upon arrival the villa looked bigger than the pictures. The villa was spacious clean and had everything we needed. The local amenities were on our doorstep, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket. We found everything we needed for our weeks stay within a 1min walk. This was extremely handy as we traveled with a 13 & 8 year old. The beach in the opposite direction was a short walk from the villa which had beautiful views, the beach has bars & restaurants too. The beach is famous for turtle spotting which we were lucky enough to see one. We would recommend a car to see the rest of the island.

What an amazing property. Stefania was a wonderful host who was able to accommodate us at last minute after arriving and finding our original villa, in the marineika vanato region, was under the flight path, 3 flights per hour for 18hrs a day almost ruined our holiday but Ambelos Villa saved the day. The villa is beautifully designed, modern, very clean and well equipped. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is far bigger. Our children, 9 & 7, loved the mezzanine level with the lower roof, they enjoyed having their own seating area and bathroom. The pool and views are stunning. Sunrise with a coffee on the terrace with nothing but the sounds of nature was a highlight. Irini, the housekeeper is so friendly also. The area has lots of wonderful Taverna’s nearby, Votsalo being a must! Cameo Island is 15mins away. We hired quads to tour up to Zakynthos Town down to Vasilikous and back to the villa. A fun afternoon out. You will have a great holiday at this villa

Huisje was super! Kleine problemen werden meteen verholpen en hij was altijd vriendelijk. Hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad in de villa

πολύ καλή τοποθεσία με φανταστικήθέα και ηρεμία, ιδανικό για οικογένεια με παιδιά που κολυμπάνε με επίβλεψη. Ο οικοδεσπότης ευγενεστατος και χαμογελαστος, ευχάριστος και έδωσε πληροφορίες για την περιοχή.

Die Unterkunft war Blitz sauber und wir haben einen fast vollen Kühlschrank (Getränke, Käse, Wurst, Wasser, Obst, Wein) beim Check-In erhalten. Die Kommunikation war einwandfrei und man musste meist nicht länger als 10min auf eine Antwort warten. Zudem war der Gastgeber in jederlei Hinsicht außerordentlich freundlich und kam allen Wünschen unsererseits uneingeschränkt entgegen. Ich kann diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Beautiful villa, calm surroundings with gorgeous view. Outstanding host who helped us within 5 minutes of us managing to lock ourselves out! Lots of recommendations and fab location to get to restaurants and bars easy with a car. Highly recommend this beautiful villa. Felt very safe and secure.

WOW! Wir waren von der ersten Sekunde an sprachlos und begeistert! Wir haben uns in der Woche unglaublich erholt - mit dem besten Ausblick der Insel. Die Finca war sehr sauber und es wurde an alles gedacht. Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und der Kühlschrank war komplett voll ausgestattet. Solch einen Luxus hatten wir noch nie in einem Airbnb. Das einzige, dass uns etwas gestört hat, waren die Türen. Sie waren leider sehr laut und so hat man die anderen Familienmitglieder geweckt, wenn man in der Nacht aus dem Zimmer musste. Außerdem gibt es in der Nachbarschaft einen verrückten Hahn, der non-stop gekräht hat. Natürlich kann da niemand was dafür, aber ich dachte es sei wichtig, dies vielleicht anzumerken. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis auch an Denise & Rafaella. Wir kommen wieder :)
