This is my third visit to this lovely spot and Wendy’s place. It’s a wonderful spot to unwind and rest for a few days. If you are thinking of booking do not hesitate. Lovely place, lovely host. Will be back again …. And again

5 Stars – A Relaxing and Thoughtful Stay! We had such a lovely 3-night stay at this lodge! The place was spotless on arrival—so clean and well-kept, which instantly made us feel comfortable and at home. One of the sweetest touches was the free welcome gift waiting for us—it really made us feel appreciated and set the tone for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a dream and a massive hit with the children. It was perfect for soaking under the stars in the peaceful surroundings. The lodge itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the quiet location, but it was also close enough to explore some great local spots. Everything was so easy, and Ruth clearly cares about their guests’ experience. Ruth messaged me and kept me updated with when the lodge was ready. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in a clean, welcoming, and peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Mole's Cottage! On arrival we were impressed with how pretty & tranquil the setting is. The welcome pack including cakes & wine was very appreciated. Facilities were excellent, amazing heated pool all to yourself, and hot tub - both a great size. The cottage is spacious but cosy with a log burner and we made use of the selection of games. Beds were comfy, plenty of bedding & towels provided. We had a few meals in and we found the kitchen really well stocked of utensils, crockery & glasses which isn’t always the case in holiday lets. Communication from Julie the host was great, with recommendations for days out & restaurants - although we didn’t venture away much as the kids were so happy in the pool! We were met at check in and shown round, then left in peace but Julie was around if we needed her. The kids loved the ducks & moorhen with their babies plus the cute rabbits. Our eldest has already asked when we can return! Thanks for a lovely stay :)

We had a wonderful stay, the lodge was well equipped, clean and spacious. The men enjoyed the fishing from the decking. The lodge had everything we could need, in a quiet location.

Firstly, Martyn is a fantastic host - welcoming, attentive, friendly and an all round great guy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was all we could have wished for - peaceful, acess to great walks in the countryside, and a great base to explore the many tourist attractions, all within a 30 minute drive. This has been one of the very best Airbnb's we have ever stayed at. We loved it so much, and had a great time. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you Martyn & Mandy.

We had amazing birthday's weekend. Place is very quiet and perfect for a walks. Just 3 minutes walk from the cabin is a swimming pool, which you can book in advance. A cabin was very clean , had all the necessary facilities. A hot tub and a grill are a great thing ! Highly recommend! Thank you Katie 😊

needed a short quiet break but with a swimming pool for my little boy. this place is ideal. it tick all the boxes. my only negative is the WiFi wasn't strong enough to watch iPlayer or Netflix. however we was content with Freeview and a glass of wine.

We really enjoyed our stay and the games room added an extra bonus to our stay. Simon’s communication was excellent.
