Hard to beat this place if you’re staying in the area. Very nice and immaculately decorated inside and out. Driveways are very steep and gravel so might have some difficulty with a car. Highly recommend.

Mandi was a fantastic host! She answered all our questions with fast response times. Gave us a curated list of things to do that we found helpful. The place was a perfect get away from home. It was everything I was looking for when trying to celebrate my 30th bday. ❤️ I wanted a remote location where we could just relax and forget our daily worries and the hot tub was my favorite part ❤️ I'll remember the late night talks around the campfire with my friends forever. Home and property are very well maintained. Home is stocked with everything you need plus more. It was 15 mins to everything we went to do and eat.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this cabin. You can’t beat the location in a quiet cove of the lake with little boat traffic, but a quick drive into town for activities or dining. The space is nicely laid out and very cozy - always love when throws and such are provided. The bed was comfortable, shower has plenty of pressure, the sunsets and stars from the backyard and dock were great. We enjoyed fishing from the dock and some wine and marshmallows by the fire pit - the wood and roasting sticks were provided. It is pet friendly but you would never know it with how well it was cleaned - no dog hair or smell. As others noted, the dogs across the street are barkers but only when cars go by which isn’t very often and the white noise app on my phone completely drowned them out for sleeping at night. The layout of the property provides plenty of options - it was nice having the car under cover for some storms that came through. We’d happily stay here again.

We had an amazing time during our stay here. We loved having a national forest right behind the house, where our four boys played to their hearts' content on the trail. The check-in process was easy and convenient, and the place was clean and inviting. It truly felt like home as soon as we walked in. Bryan was very attentive and even had water brought to us before we ran out. The only reason I didn’t give a perfect score across the board is that the neighborhood was a bit rundown. However, this did not diminish our enjoyment; we loved every minute of our stay. There was so much to do in the area, and we would definitely love to come back and stay again!

Skip was such a great host. He was very accommodating. There was breakfast in the fridge and he made sure we had plenty of coffee. He Was very helpful and gave us a tour of the property. The cabins were located along the lake with lake access. It Was a very quiet and private area. He told us the history of the cabins. How his dad built them in the 1930s. They were older but have been well maintained. AC worked great. No issues with plumbing and shower pressure was very good. We brought our dog so this location was perfect. Plenty of room to walk around and explore. We also saw an eagles nest. Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to see any eagles this trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect cabin for our home base while visiting the hot springs with our pup. The private back porch was a great view and relaxing with hanging rocker. Cabin was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. The shower was amazing and great for refreshing after a day of hiking! Melissa was so very accommodating and responsive to our needs. We would stay here in a heart beat if we’re ever back in the area!

Our stay was wonderful! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Very private and secluded which I loved. My dog had plenty of room to play. The cabin was well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Overall, we had a great time.

We loved this Airbnb, it’s perfect for two guests + pets. The backyard was beautiful and so enjoyable and the house itself was clean. The inside shower did have low water pressure but the outside shower was perfect. The check out instructions were a little confusing, as the online and physical book instructions were different. It does lack a TV, which makes relaxation at night a little difficult. The location is very nice as it’s close to downtown, but far enough away to feel private. Overall, it was super enjoyable and perfect for our vacation.

I cannot praise this place and the host enough! The pictures were accurate and the place is beautiful and cozy and well decorated but not cluttered in any way. The hosts are the most responsive, attentive, and accommodating as I’ve ever experienced through Airbnb. My family and I held an intimate outdoor family gathering here and rented the day before the event as well and I had noticed that a few bulbs of the string lights were out and I called the number and was connected to their property manager who called their maintenance team and had Kyle, the friendliest and most helpful maintenance tech I’ve ever had pleasure of meeting, out the very next morning and he spent about 2 hours replacing bulbs by hand to make sure that the lighting for our gathering was perfect and I cannot thank him and our hosts enough for it! I would suggest this stay to anyone and I will!

We stayed here to check out a tiny home because we’d like to build one for ourselves. We really liked the layout and Benita was very informative as we asked her questions about it. Our teenager slept upstairs and we had the two little ones downstairs with us. We enjoyed breakfast on the back patio and it was so beautiful as the leaves fell around us. We didn’t get a chance to check out the lake since we’re on a road trip. Very cute place, thanks Benita!

This place is incredibly peaceful—perfect for a quiet escape from the city. My wife loved doing yoga on the dock each morning, and the stillness at night was amazing. A great bonus was how close it is to Garvan Woodland Gardens, which was the main reason for our trip. It’s only about 10 minutes away, and we visited during the Tulip Extravaganza—absolutely beautiful! As others mentioned, the road in passes some rundown properties, but we never felt unsafe. The only downside was the bed. The mattress was comfortable, but it sits on a large platform that makes it awkward to get in and out of. It’s not the bed shown in the photos. There's also an RV parked next door. I believe the people who clean the home live there. They were very polite and quiet. The home was well-stocked, and thoughtful touches like laundry and dish soap were much appreciated. Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! Excellent communication and we loved the space. Roger was able to accommodate a little early check in and a little late check out. The area is quiet and the space is very comfortable. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Loved staying here for Labor Day weekend. So peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Recommend bringing a fan with you it can get warm in the loft. Other than that it was amazing and I can’t wait to come back!

This was our second time here in 4 months.. As before the scenery from the mountain top is second to none with almost 360 degree views. The lights from atop Hot Springs is beautiful.!!! Very relaxing and private. We shall be back!!! 5 Stars all way around. Mr. Jim and Adam are some of the best hosts we have ever dealt with. Awesome people!!! You won’t be disappointed!!! Wayne
