Häuser als Ferienunterkünfte in Madeira

Very kind host and beautiful place. Our flight was sent back to Lisbon due to high winds so we ended up arriving after 1am and Nelson was kind enough to wait up for us and gave us a nice anniversary gift as well.

Heel mooi huis! Alles aanwezig en prachtige plek! Als je het zwembad verwarmd wil, goed van te voren vragen en regelen. Verder vond ik dat er weinig handdoeken en keukendoeken waren voor 1 week maar dat is dan het enige, verder top gehad hier!

Wir haben zu fünft im April 2025 eine wunderbare Woche in Élvios Casa verbracht. Es hat uns allen großartig gefallen! Wir hatten sehr viel Glück mit dem Wetter, so dass wir viel Zeit auf der unglaublichen Terrasse verbringen konnten. Die Aussicht auf das Meer und die Umgebung ist ein Traum. Sogar im geheizten Pool waren wir. Élvio stand uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Er gab uns Tipps für den Supermarkt, Wanderungen, Restaurants etc. Zur Begrüßung fanden wir bereits kühles Bier im Kühlschrank und Obst auf dem Tisch. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr groß und hell. Die Einrichtung ist modern und schlicht. Alles entspricht den Fotos. Mit unserem Mietwagen, den wir einfach vor dem Haus parken konnten, haben wir die Insel erkundet. Madeira ist wunderschön. Wir haben einige Wanderungen gemacht, die einfach nur einmalig waren. Diese Natur auf Madeira, das Grün der Pflanzen, das Blau von Meer und Himmel... einfach unbeschreiblich. Vielen, vielen Dank, Élvio!!!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met zijn vijven. Het ontbrak aan niets, werkelijk alles was aanwezig (zelfs een kaasschaaf, fijn voor een Nederlander😅). Ook een heerlijke buitenruimte met voldoende meubilair voor ons allen. Een aanrader. Ik zou graag nog eens komen.

We spend a week in this amazing house. The view is amazing and so is the place itself. It has everything that you need to spend an amazing time in Madeira. The hosts are super responsive and gave us lots of tips to entertain ourselves. We came with a baby and everything was there so that we didn’t have to worry about anything. We even forgot our babyphone and they borrowed us theirs! What a service! The bedrooms are big and the mattresses really comfy. Bathroom are clean and spacious. The living area downstairs is huge and perfect to chill with friends and family. It’s in driving distance from everything that you want to do. Big thank you again we had a blast!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Jorge's house. The house was very well maintained and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view from the terrace was sensational and the pool was well heated. The landlord was very accommodating and also gave us valuable tips for our excursions. We were also allowed to check in much earlier than agreed. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and the landlord and would book again at any time.

Gary’s home makes for a wonderful stay. The property is well maintained and provides everything required for a stay. The views from the rear of the property are incredible, so much so that we opted to stay in the property rather than venturing out on occasion. Photos do not do it justice! Gary has been a fantastic host, providing excellent recommendations and always being willing to go the extra mile to accommodate. I would recommend Gary and his property to friends and family and will look to return in the future.

Das im Bauhaus-Stil gehaltene Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und neuwertig. Es sind alle notwendigen Geräte vorhanden. Das Haus war gesamte Haus und die Terrassen waren sehr sauber inklusive der Bäder. Der Pool war wie vereinbart beheizt und durch die Abdeckung hat er auch sehr gut die Temperatur gehalten. Fatima hat sich direkt am zweiten Tag kurz bei uns vorgestellt, sie ist sehr nett und wir hatten sofort ein sehr freundschaftliches Verhältnis. Wir durften sogar ein paar Tomaten aus Ihrem heimischen Garten probieren. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub mit Poolzeit und Wandern verbringen möchte, ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Wir kommen wieder!

Check in was easy and smooth, communication was very good from the host. We really did feel like we could lean on them if we wanted anything. Very nice and helpful. House was generally very clean and we had a great time there. Big dinner tables for family meals both inside and out and a nice little breakfast bar. Pool was well maintained and kept clean. Kitchen is pretty much stocked with everything you'd need. Only downside I would say is that the garage would've been too small for the original car we had hired, thankfully we ended up getting a hatchback rather than an SUV. The tight roads would've also been an issue for inexperienced drivers. Not a deal breaker though, the house was very nice and spacious otherwise.

We had a great week here! Manny gave us a very warm welcome and spoiled us with thoughtful welcome gifts. The place is very spacious, the kitchen has all you need and the terrace has a great view. Even two couples can comfortably stay here while having a private bedroom and bathroom each. Thank you Manny!

Sehr schöne und modern eingerichtete Unterkunft, genau wie beschrieben mit einem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren leider nur zwei Nächte dort. Wir wurden persönlich von Yannik (der Mann von Beatrice) in Empfang genommen und auch verabschiedet. Sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft und die Gastgeber sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Nous avons été accueilli par la propriétaire avec un panier garni de fruits frais ainsi que des œufs. La maison est très bien équipée et est très propre, fidèle à la description. Bel environnement. Merci à Fernando et Nelia

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans le logement de Natsja. Le logement est très bien situé pour accéder aux voies rapides (40 minutes de Funchal). Le quartier est très calme, la vue splendide et la terasse idéale pour le réconfort apres les efforts de la journée! Le logement est spacieux et cosy. Il correspond en tous points à la description faite sur l'annonce. Natsja est une hote aux petits soins, et vous etes accueillis par de petites attentions (confiture maison par exemple). Elle vous fournit aussi de précieuses indications sur les visites à faire environnantes et de bonnes adresses pour se restaurer. La seule chose à intégrer est le parking: la 1ere fois cela surprend car c'est très pentu et !! Mais ne surtout pas se laisser démoraliser par cela car le logement comme l'accueil le valent bien! Un grand merci encore à Natsja. Nous retenons l'adresse pour une prochaine fois et recommandons +++ 😊

Super helpful and friendly host! Location was perfect for us, and Airbnb was very spacious for our group of two couple and two kids.

Ottima sistemazione, parcheggio privato, giardino curato e recintato su tutto il perimetro della casa. Pulizia e confort dell'alloggio al di sopra della media, in posizione molto tranquilla e a distanza di ca. 15/20 minuti a piedi (a seconda dell'andatura) dal centro comm.le Zarco e dalla spiaggia "Pedras Pretas". A circa 300 mt. c'è un ottimo ristorante e nelle immediate vicinanze di questo un piccolo emporio per eventuali immediate necessità. Nelle vicinanze c'è pure un'ottima pizzeria. Per chi non disponesse di mezzo proprio rendo noto che con una passeggiata di ca. 30 minuti si può raggiungere il centro e che l'eventuale ritorno con carichi si effettuata ad un modesto costo di € 5,75.= Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Maria est une hôte très gentille, très réactive à nos questions Le logement est parfait propre et très fonctionnel pour un agréable séjour. La terrasse en hauteur avec vue sur la mer ! Une place de parking juste devant le logement se qui est très bien à Madère Maria a de gentille attention à notre égard pain ,pomme de terre, gâteau… Nous avons passé un très très bon séjour chez Maria 🤩

This is the best airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, every one of us was indeed impressed with how lovely the apartment was, it’s very spacious and perfect for 4+ people, it’s the ideal location for exploring Madeira by car. As it’s in the central location of the island. The host was amazing left us a welcome basket with loads of different local snacks, they was very welcoming and attended to our needs and provided lots of information about Madeira and activities that we can do Overall for the price and quality of what you’re getting it’s out of this world 🌍 get yourself booked in 👍🏻

We stayed a week at Nuno’s place and loved it! The house was modern with great views on the coast and sea, just above the Cristo Rei statue. We felt home from the beginning and enjoyed the very well equipped accommodation. The location is great too for trips to the surroundings. Make sure you have a rental car to get around! There is free parking in front of the house. Nuno is also a warm host sharing lots of tips in advanced and even helped to make a restaurant reservation for our first evening. Thanks a lot! We can definitely recommend Nuno’s airbnb!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft mit unserem zweijährigen Sohn sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war sehr neu und sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Garage, Waschmaschine und Wäschetrockner sind sehr praktisch. Zwei weitere tolle Schlafzimmer hätten Platz für Großeltern und Freunde geboten. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett.

Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit prachtige huis. Dit huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is smaakvol ingericht en wij voelden ons meteen thuis❤️ Het verwarmde zwembad met uitzicht op zee was een groot cadeau, vooral bij zonsondergang. 🌞 Wij komen zeker een keer terug! The accommodation was ideal for a vacation in Funchal, with many restaurants and cafes fairly close by. We had not appreciated how steep the hill is when walking up from the old town, but managed the walk virtually every day during our 3 week stay. Prospective visitors would be well advised to make use of taxis (costing around €6 from the town centre to the property) or check out the Number 22 bus which runs from town to a stop outside the property. Had we looked at the bus details earlier, we might have saved ourselves some hill climbing. We watched the New Year fireworks from the road outside and would really recommend this fantastic experience to others. Carina is a very considerate and supportive host and was always quick to help, whenever asked.

Great value and great location. Parking outside the flat was a bit challenging and not always available but there were other parking options nearby

So ein schönes Haus auf dem Berg. Man hat die Meerblick. Rui sehr hilfsbereit, er hat beim check in uns sehr geholfen. Man muss richtig Autofahren können wenn diese Unterkunft buchen. Am besten nutzt den Weg nach der Anweisung von Vermieter. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch, sehr ruhig und sehr privat. Wir werden Auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
