Such a lovely place in a remarkable location! Nesso is a beautiful little town with lots to explore by foot - the little supermarket has everything you need, you can hike, and you can see the lake panorama directly from the terrace. Our off-season stay in March meant that the town was basically empty, so we truly got to enjoy some peace and calm. The house is cozy and has some beautiful vintage details (the tiles!). The bathroom is spacious and clean, the kitchen has all the basics, and the hosts kindly provided some snacks and pasta supplies, which was a lovely surprise. One thing to note: there is only street leading out of town from the apartment, and it is exactly 2,20m narrow - so keep that in mind if you're thinking of renting a car :) We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

If we could give 6 stars we would. The location is beautiful, full of wonderful nature. Ivana’s apartment felt right at home, had everything you would want in an airbnb and more. We very much enjoyed all the delicacies! Even with public transport its very reachable and Ivana is very friendly and helpful. We wouldn’t think twice about booking again.

Dominic and his father are kind, respectful and considerate. We exchanged ideas on where to hike and what to wear even though we are busy. I’m thankful to have the time to stay in the Aeblis’ house. It has everything you need: dishwasher, washer, hot shower and numerous heaters, for the WC to the bedroom. For me I sleep cool, so the heater in the toilet is enough for warmth on most days; sometimes I use my headlights just because I want to “set the mood”. The bed, pillow and blankets are very comfortable. The living room is always toasty due to the floor heating. Windows are modern and you can’t hear the highway noise when shut. If you have lived in a modern hutte like Kesch, then that's what you can expect + stable internet from router. It is also much less “touristy” or crowded on the way there than Valais, i very much appreciate that. Hope to have the chance to swing by again and accomplish routine hikes!

Could not ask for a more perfect location just steps away from the lake and the ferry and all the happenings along the shores of Varenna - we enjoyed 2 nights and one full day, took the ferry to Bellagio for lunch and a bit of shopping , strolled the botanical gardens within steps of the Airbnb and along the Como shore pathway, visited the beautiful church, even swam in the lake which was refreshing in late April! Enea could not have been a more perfect host - arranged for his father to meet us at the train and had a chilled bottle of Prosecco with 2 crystal glasses awaiting us which we enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the jaw dropping view of Como Lake. Perfection!

A really beautiful and well-appointed home in Ticino - I look forward to possibly staying at other places of Do-Minus in the future. The included breakfast was lovely. We cooked in the kitchen the night before and it has everything one needs. Making a fire in the kitchen was cozy - the kitchen was a bit cold in the morning (0 degrees Celsius outside) but the rest of the house was very warm. The hot tub was great - I would note that in cold weather the sauna may not get warm enough and it is only made for two people at max.

Wir haben eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser Ferienwohnung in Tremezzo am Comer See verbracht. Die Lage ist perfekt: ruhig und dennoch in unmittelbarer Nähe zu zahlreichen Restaurants, Bars sowie den Fähranlegern und dem traumhaften botanischen Garten der Villa Carlotta – alles bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Wohnung selbst ist hervorragend ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und vermittelt sofort ein Gefühl von Wohlbehagen. Besonders genossen haben wir den kleinen, separaten Garten, der Privatsphäre bietet und einen herrlichen Blick auf den See freigibt – ideal zum Entspannen. Ein Hinweis für Anreisende mit dem Auto: Die zur Wohnung gehörende Garage ist ein großer Pluspunkt, allerdings führt der Weg dorthin über eine extrem schmale und steile Gasse. Hier ist Fahrgeschick gefragt, nichts für schwache Nerven. Insgesamt eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle, die einen entspannten Aufenthalt in einer der schönsten Regionen Italiens suchen!

Io e la mia compagna siamo state nella splendida casa malenca 2 di Katia per 4 giorni e l'abbiamo adorata! perfetta per una coppia, ha tutto il necessario per sentirsi come a casa! La vicinanza alle piste da sci è ottimale come anche al paese e al centro. Vicino ci sono piccoli alimentari e ristoranti eccellenti, la posizione è perfetta! Ultimo, ma non meno importante, Katia è stata un host eccezionale sempre disponibile e gentile nel rispondere alle nostre domande e necessitá! Tornemo sicuramente, a presto! Camilla e Annabella

Der Aufenthalt in Ca' Leonardi bei Marica war wundervoll! Man hat sich wie in einem Luxushotel gefühlt, alles war sehr sauber und die Wohnung äußerst stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Spa war ein Highlight, die E-bikes waren klasse um eine angenehme Fahrradfahrt um den Ledrosee zu machen. Den morgendlichen Korb mit Brötchen haben wir sehr genossen, genauso wie den Willkommens-Sekt und den Limoncello. Auch von der Kaffeemaschine haben wir sehr profitiert, sie hat sehr leckeren Kaffee gemacht. Marica war immer gut erreichbar, der Check-in durch eine Mitarbeiterin war sehr angenehm für uns weil wir nur wenig Italienisch verstehen und die nette Frau ein wenig Deutsch sprach. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed it. It started with Massimo picking us up from the train station and driving us to the flat. The place was very clean and spacious. Especially for the price, this is an incredible deal. You can easily get on the ferry to go to the neighboring towns but it is about an hour 20 to get to the main city of bellagio, just to keep that in mind. That didn’t bother us at all though. They left us basic breakfast items like eggs, toast, ham, milk and apple juice. We really enjoyed that. Lake como is beautiful and this is a great spot if you want to relax and live a slow life. Not to mention the view of the lake and mountains from the flat was Amazing. Overall this was an amazing stay and massimo and Marta were more than great hosts.

Mieszkanie bardzo przyjemne niczego nie brakowało, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, łazienka z pralką dla mnie dodatkowe udogodnienia to wejście z garażu do mieszkania👍 Mieszkanie zdecydowanie dla osób posiadających auto ponieważ dojazd jest przez sporo serpentyn ale ja to akurat lubię 😅😉

Ottimo alloggio nelle vicinanze di Bormio. Era tutto molto pulito e curato nei dettagli, con una cucina ben attrezzata. Abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario per il nostro soggiorno. Nei dintorni abbiamo trovato bar, ristoranti e altre attività raggiungibili in auto.

Great place to stay for our Bernina Express trip from Chur. We enjoyed the apartment with all the extras that make you feel at home. Very welcoming place and easy to walk to everything. Highly recommended!

Anbefales på det højeste!!! Vi ELSKEDE at tilbringe tid i den dejlige hytte som Serena og Amedeo har. De var rigtig imødekommende og trods en lille sprogbarriere, havde vi nogle gode snakke sammen. Stedet var utroligt lækkert og med den skønneste morgenmad! Vi fik en dejlig rundtur i deres skønne have, hvor de inspirerende fortalte om deres biodynamiske landbrug. Perfekt sted at slappe af, men med god mulighed for smukke vandreruter.

Wir haben 2 Nächte be Elisa übernachtet und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Die Unterkunft ist super schön und sauber. Wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles!

Stanza molto carina, pulita, arredamento nuovo. Colazione meravigliosa, con varie torte e biscotti fatti in casa dalla signora Lucia, che e' stata gentilissima e molto disponibile. Decisamente consigliato!

Das waren wunderbare Ferientage im Haus von Antonella. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet und grosszügig ausgestattet, mit kleinem Balkon und unvergesslicher Aussicht. Antonella war sehr zuvorkommend, wertschätzend, herzlich und liebevoll. Ihr Frühstück war grossartig und persönlich. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wow. This place was amazing. Felt like a local staying here. The b and b is filled with tons of original artwork and antiques. Perched next to the waterfall where you can listen to it all day and night. Breakfast was thoughtful hand made treats every single morning. Other reviewers mention how there’s no restaurants or cafes near by in the village. Not true. There’s around 4 cafes and 5 restaurants. It’s not a tourist village. It’s wayyyy better. We fell in love with this town and this air b and b was truly amazing in every single way. Do not miss out. Thank you Davide and Ettore!

I can strongly recommend C'era Una Volta to anyone planning on visiting Varenna, or the Lake Como area more generally. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood at the top of a hill overlooking the lake valley. While the steepness of the hill may be daunting, it is easily accessed using the local (D21) bus system and the (free!) night bus service, which stops about a 5 minute walk from the B&B. I found the room to be quite comfortable, even if I wasn't the target audience for the old-timey theming. The breakfast was complete, with cereal, fruit, eggs, cheese, cold cuts, etc. But the star of the stay was Alessandro. Even before I arrived, he reached out with extensive information on the best way to get to the location from Varenna. When I arrived, I was immediately offered a drink and conversation. He refused to let me leave in the morning without breakfast, even though this meant preparing the meal two hours in advance. It's hard to even imagine a more proactive (yet tactful) host.

Purtroppo ci siamo fermati da Matteo solo per una notte!la stanza era pulita, moderna e dotata di tutti i servizi!posizione stupenda in mezzo alla montagna...adatto per chi vuole un momento di relax ma nel frattempo vicino al centro abitato ed al lago!Matteo è stato gentilissimo e veloce nel rispondere!ci torneremo sicuramente!

This is a hidden gem. Absolutely perfect in every way! The photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful rooms - very clean, lovely furniture, large and spacious, glorious bathroom with a steamer/Turkish bath, comfortable bed and pillows, two bedrooms with good quality bunk bed for children too. Local wines provided in the room fridges. The breakfast provided was enormous and included huge pastries and croissants, muesli and fruit, cereal, biscuits, toasted sandwiches, and good coffee! It was lovely. The service from Mrs Giulia was wonderful. Anything you need, she is there to help. The airbnb also has the most stunning rooftop views, including a rooftop pool. There are some lovely walks you can do nearby. And I highly recommend eating at Osteria Lanzati (downstairs) - delicious food, impeccable service. A fine dining experience! They were also very kind to our fussy two young children, and made them feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. We will certainly be back!
