Toad Hall is our luxury lodge/ treehouse in the woods with incredible views across open unspoilt countryside with a Private Hot Tub. Situated on a Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Part disable/pram friendly. Ideally located in North West norfolk close to Sandringham, Houghton & the North Norfolk coast. 15 mins from Kings lynn station. Perfect retreat to immerse in nature. Wet room. King size accommodation. Under floor heating. Oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge etc. Bedding included.Sleeps 4+2 Wifi-4GBox
Open plan gable living room kitchen. Wet room. King size bedroom downstairs with double doors opening onto morning terrace. Watch the sunset on the west facing terrace. Double bedroom and space for children to sleep. Wet room and fully functional kitchen. Private Hot tub. Suitable for up to 4 adults and 2/3 children. There are space saving stairs to the first floor. These are quite steep. There is a stair gate at the top but not at the bottom. Something to note if you have small children. Outdoor dining & BBQ. The ground floor is part disabled friendly. Anyone booking must be able to open doors independently for easy escape.
Here in North Norfolk we are spoilt for choice on award winning eateries, whimsical walks and Stunning Norfolk Coastline. Situated in Between Houghton, Sandringham, close to Kings Lynn and our favourite beaches. **** COVID - 19 Information **** You will have a designated toilet and shower room. Linen is hot washed but you can bring your own bedding. We will have extra, deep-cleaning between each changeover. Please do not come to Happy Valley if you have any symptoms. When meeting others on the site, please keep 2M apart (you have 200 acres). Please consider not using the local supermarkets but instead please try to bring your own food in advance or arrange for a food delivery to be made to PE32 1DN. Please consider wearing a mask when out and about. Kindly wash your hands on a regular basis and systematically clean your areas with the antibacterial spray provided. Please use paper towels and dispose of in the bins provided. Please discard disposable gloves or masks in the available bins. Your safety is of paramount importance to us and we have an excellent cleaning record and lots of space.

  • Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte zu meinem Geburtstag, tadellos gepflegt und ein sehr vernünftiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für die Qualität der Erfahrung. Ab dem 1. Tag fühlten wir uns wie im Paradies. Das Zimmer war so intim, sehr einfach und auch sehr schön, wir genossen den Whirlpool, es war absolut entspannend. Ich werde diese 3 tollen Tage, die ich in meinem Herzen habe, nie vergessen ♥ ️ Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen. Nochmals vielen Dank für einen fabelhaften Aufenthalt!

  • Katys Baumhaus ist einfach umwerfend. Wir waren mit zwei kleinen Kindern auf der Suche nach einem Ort, an dem man sich abends entspannen und entspannen kann.     Large furnished bell tents set in the stunning and historical setting of Mannington Hall and Gardens just outside Itteringham in North Norfolk. Get back to nature in style! We have 9 tents on our 2.5 acre field with field shelter, sauna and pizza oven, and one in it's own private meadow in the grounds, available in August. IF IT SAYS BOOKED WE MAY HAVE OTHERS AVAILABLE.     Inside - There'll be a double or single bed configuration, whatever you need for your group. The double beds (with proper mattresses!) and single camp beds are made up with duvets and pillows with 100% cotton sheets and pillow cases. Leave the sleeping bags at home! All of our tents come equipped with an in tent log burner!! Now you can enjoy the changing seasons in the North Norfolk countryside and coast, and then warm your toes in front of the fire!! There are apple crates to use as bed side tables, or a centre table or storage, and cushions. An led hurricane lamp is supplied with either a winder, recharchable batteries or solar power. A trunk has been placed in each tent and given a new use as a cool box come table. There is a freezer on site for changing the cool packs over. To keep your cosy tent comfortable inside throughout your stay, we've provided a large bell tent awning, creating a shelter for boots, cooking, and maybe some star gazing. Kitchen box - Each tent will be provided with a fire pit which also doubles up as a bbq, and a gas stove for your culinary camping creations. Keeping it stylish, there will also be a crate of vintage inspired cooking and dining ware, as follows... enamel dining ware, plate, bowl and mug for each person, cooking pots, frying pan, kettle, tea/coffee pot, spatula, wooden spoons, serving spoons, masher, sieve, tea/coffee strainer, bottle opener (an important one), can opener, cutlery, scourer, tea towels. If we've forgotton anything, please let us know. There will also be a box of basic pantry essentials....oil, salt, pepper and sugar. What we supply... tent with deck and awning double bed with proper mattress, pillows and duvet single camp beds with duvet, sheet and pillow wood burning stove coolbox lighting kitchen box with cooking and dining equipment basic pantry essentials picnic table fire pit gas stove hot showers cold water on the field and hot water washing up facilities outside the shower block! amazing locations!!! Outside - There's a picnic table for each tent, a fire pit / bbq, jam jars and tea lights. Fire starting kit and some wood for the first night supplied. More can be picked up from the honesty shop. There is a washing up area near the tents with running water and washing up liquid. WC and keeping clean - There are 7 toilets and 4 hot showers around 200m away. There is also a facilities block with 7 loos and 4 hot showers around 500m away along with hot water washing up facilities outside the shower block. There is a cold water stand pipe behind the sauna which is suitable for drinking. Fridges - There are freezers housed outside the shower block where you can find frozen hot water bottles to use as cool packs in your 'cool boxes' in your tent. (Tin trunks) Honesty shop - Situated in the field shelter, for things you may need for your stay - kindling, logs, charcoal, cooking gas, matches, candles......etc!There are invoice books allocated to each tent where you can keep a tally of the things you use during your stay - just settle up when you leave either by cash in the honesty box in the field shelter - or paypal before you leave the site. The a field shelter is kitted out with seating and ping pong table and games, and our woodstore honesty shop. Around the corner is the wood fired pizza oven and sauna in the corner of the field. New for 2017 - outside sauna shower. Caravan Thrift Store - New for 2017 - Love the style offered to you at Amber's Bell Tent Camping? Take some of it home with you. I've set up a little antique shop in my old vintage van selling the wares that I use in the tent interiors and around the site. Apple crates, galvanised garden pieces, vintage enamel, bunting, along with some branded ABTC souvenirs. Amber's Bell Tent Camping aims to take the hassle out of camping by supplying everything you need for a relaxing stylish comfortable camping experience, thus avoiding the never ending packing before your trip, and the dreaded unpacking at the end, leaving you more time to relax!
    15 acres of statley home magic is yours, inlcuding wild wetlands with bird hide, moated house gardens, lawns, woodland. There are maps in the tents of the grounds, including the lake walk which is a nice 20 min stroll, and longer walks taking in the local countryside. Walk over the fields to Itteringham, where you'll find the best little country store around, selling local produce and serving teas. Dinner.. head to the fab Walpole Arms and enjoy a torch lit walk home. Closer to home, there's the Greedy Goose tea rooms on site (open during garden opening times) - great for Sunday brunch once packed up... Mannington is surrounded by some fantastic cycling, along beautiful sheltered leafy lanes linking up some of the counties best pubs for family riding, or heading up through the wooded dells to the coast for a longer stretch. Book bikes with us and have them ready for you when you arrive! And of course, there's the amazing North Norfolk coastline - with the sandy beaches of West Runton Cromer and Overstrand an easy back lane drive away, and the pebbly splendor of Cley next the sea a 20 min drive. A divine spot for an evening swim - don't forget your water shoes! There's an amber's beach guide you can download on the website and in your intent packs.

Takeaways and cooking in our home. Stiltz is dedicated to love & romance, connect with that special person, get away and focus on each other in the hot tub with uninterrupted views of the valley, walk in 350 acres of woodland. A luxury kingsize four--poster-bed a woodburner, relax in our outside covered fire-pit patio.
    Guidance COVID-19 advice for accommodation providers, due Government Guidance and advice for those providing hotel and other accommodation in the UK please read the below carefully. As a Businesses providing holiday accommodation and short term lets we now have implemented the below. Before July 3rd 2020 we remain open if: · The guest or family are support key workers or vulnerable groups. · To house people who have been flooded out of their homes, if not able to return to their primary residence. · But You will need to contact us direct as all dates between today and 3rd July will be blocked. After July 4th 2020 we are open to all guests to stay, and can book now for dates in a July if accepting the following guidance: We care deeply about your safety, whether you are at home or traveling and will happily do more to help you where we can. · Guests should not be using public transport to get to us or during their stay, we can make arrangements for Bike hire. Most guests travel by car and we provide private and isolated guest car parking. · Guests should try to adhere to the simple social distancing principles of being two metres apart if outside family groups, for example on trips to local shops. A major benefit for us is that we are very rural, and you never need meet anyone during your stay here. Within the vast Woodlands and Heaths that back onto the properties, it is very rare to meet other people, and if people are walking their dogs, it is easy to see people approaching from a distance and to go in other directions. · A Stand down day. We have now implemented a minimum 28 hours between guests arriving and departing our properties. This is for two main reasons, one, it allows our hot tubs to be drained and cleaned completely, and two, for us to carry out a full deeper clean, bleaching all surfaces in between all guests. Our cleaners have been advised/reminded on how to thoroughly clean our properties, and have been provided with additional cleaning solutions to ensure this is correctly carried out. This will double the time they spend cleaning our properties, however, we are determined to always continue to improve our excellent hygiene standards. · Our social distancing policy means, we will not meet our guests on arrival or during your stay, other than an emergency. On arrival you will check in and have a code to the key box, this will allow you to access the property. · For the interim, we have removed all sauces and condiments, tea bags and aromatherapy oils for the hot tubs at both rentals. We will still provide a large portion of coffee beans for the coffee machines in a resealable container (kept in the fridges) which is replaced between guests, so these items you will now need to bring for your own personal use. · We would also ask that all our guests please also follow government guidelines on hand washing and daily hygiene to ensure we are all working together to avoid this virus. · the WHO recommends practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection — by washing your hands frequently with soap, so we provide hand soap in our properties, advice is soap and water with robust scrubbing is more effective than anything else. · The advice of maintaining distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing, and avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth. key boxes ( we use anti bacterial treatment between guests on all key boxes) allow you to enter the property and leave with out the need to meet us. · Airbnb now are changing cancelation policy and cancellation charges are being updated so please check regularly the site for details and you have any problems with COVID-19, we would prefer that you do speak to Airbnb first if your circumstances change, and if we have any problems then you will be notified via the app. · We understand as this situation rapidly evolves, we know there is an atmosphere of uncertainty as travellers wonder if they should change their plans and we will do all we can to help with regular information. Thanks for your support during this difficult period. We have had some fantastic reviews, and we attract guests hunting for what we offer, therefore we want to be clear on what you can expect so you can then you can have the very best experience and therefore Stiltz can not be suitable for everyone or all tastes, as it is very rural and designed for couples wanting to get away from it all. Stiltz has been compared to tree house, so for that reason Stiltz is not suitable for all guests, as the Home front access is ONLY by steps and the decking, which can be slippery when wet, and so please DO NOT BOOK, if you want to bring young children, or Older guests with limited mobility or Disabled guests, but our other property the lodge is child and Disability friendly and sleeps up to four or five and you can also book via Airbnb. Stiltz's is a building surrounded by decking and is on stilts as it is built on the side of a hill. the home has dual aspect decking, allowing you to maximise sun and shade from dawn till dusk, with the best uninterrupted views of the valley and 12 acres of meadows which surrounds our hot tub. This has been perfect for couples wanting a special break away. We have done all we can to make it as comfortable as possible, the luxury inside, alongside the pleasure of watching the sunset with a glass of bubbly at any time of the year from the warmth of the hot tub is something special that a photo cannot capture! The only experience can not be capture on film is that on a clear night, you can lay back in the hot tub under a canopy of stars, which is something our guests have been amazed by and loved! DOGS are welcome, just let us know the type, as for this property small and medium breads work best, please be aware we also need to ensure after you leave, every trace of you pet needs to be removed for the next guests to enjoy their stay! As the decking on the other side from the Hottub Is also on different levels with steps and for the same reasons, it is also not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues or disabilities, and again best pick the lodge, also with so much decking if it gets wet, care also needs to be taken for all our guests, and again, some more elderly guests would not find it practical to stay at Stiltz either. It is especially designed for couples looking for a romantic brake from the bustle of everyday life, curling up in front of a roaring fire with that special someone. We are miles away from the nearest village, and access is via an unmade track. Also some mobile providers also have poor coverage in our area too, it is rural with a capital R, so if fast broadband is a must have for your stay, then our location is not for you! The lodge is located with access to 400 acres of heathland and woods close to the leisure area called Top Farm. From the bedroom you can see the same views through triple glazed windows and, when you wake, relax in the luxury ash grey four poster bed, on a mattress which has over a 1000 individual pocket springs with deep, luxury fillings, this is a hand tufted mattress to give optimum support for a peaceful night’s sleep. We provide high quality and fresh bed linen for all guests, with luxury soft pillows and duvet. Many of our guests have said that, when combined with a couple of hours in the hot tub, it has made for the best night’s sleep they’ve had in years! (We also provide, free of charge, lavender, raspberry and other scented oils for use in the hot tub). We built Stiltz for relaxing in, and it is ideal for guests who want to stay somewhere a bit special. Our happiest clients seem to be couples who want to get away from it all, but not to scrimp on comfort! The french solid oak flooring in the bedroom steps you into the travertine stone floor of the ensuite, with shower, basin and toilet, with soft deep towels provided, or your robes provided for the spa. The en suite is clad in hand cut timber painted with soft eggshell. From the shower room step into the lounge, with a deep four-seater, grey, leather sofa, to curl up on for a cosy night in front of the contemporary wood burner, with the option of watching the Panasonic 40" Smart TV, with Freeview TV, DVD player and selection of DVD's. It is unlikely you will feel either too cold or, too hot, as the building is super insulated, but the 5 kilowatt state of the art Scandinavian wood burner can make the place very hot quite rapidly. (The manual has details on its operation), and with a flick of a switch the warm aromatic air can be pulled through into your bedroom. We provide all wood and kindling free of charge for your stay, as it is a must for our winter guests! You can exit the lounge stepping onto your personal decked areas on both sides of Stiltz via sets of double patio doors. To the sun deck or covered breakfast area, all areas can be again fully lit in the evenings. The dining table separates the lounge from the kitchen area, and you will find DAB radio and an Ipod dock for visitors’ use. Both the lounge and kitchen have white bespoke New England adjustable shutters for maximum privacy and shade. The kitchen is well equipped with all your home comforts, seasoning (Tuscan, Italian , French, chilli and others) plus your own top of the range bean to cup coffee machine (Instructions to be found in the manual), also find complimentary fresh coffee beans kept in the fridge for your use also. Dishwasher, toaster, blender and kettle are also provided. Instant coffee and a selection of twelve types of tea bags from herbal to Earl Grey are complementary . Also, all necessities, i.e. dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cleaning products. The cooking area has a ceramic hob, extractor fan and a large separate combination microwave/grill/oven (Instructions in the manual), also commentary cooking oils, balsamic vinegar, sauces, herbs and spices. To brighten up our kitchen we have a fun, bright orange, retro fridge-freezer and on top you have your very own ice machine. We even provide a full set of condiments, ketchup, mustard, chilli, tabasco and much more! At the end of the kitchen you can exit on to a further decked balcony via the third set of patio doors. This time, the deck has a glass roof, and you can step out onto the sun deck with sun loungers ready surrounded by a glass balcony, so as not to spoil your view! From there you can step straight into the spa, which is level with the deck. With external down lighters outside the north facing glazed wall, these, and all the extensive external lighting, are controlled from the door by the bedroom, which leads you on to the decking. The framed edge of the decked balcony is also lined with stainless steel handrails and cabling. The hot tub is a Catalina XL21000, with twin loungers so you can lay back. It seats five comfortably, and with three pumps and a heated blower the 64 stainless steel jets should not miss a spot delivering the ultimate relaxation. However, if you wish to chill in this idyllic country setting, we also provide a 50 watt portable speaker, bluetooth your phone or iPod to listen to your own playlist, and in the spa at night you can always turn on the tubs own underwater LED lights. On the decking next to the hot tub are chairs and table, perfect for breakfasts, and a bistro set with chairs and a table perfect for evening prosecco. Our guests can enjoy their evening with subtle light from blue up lighters on the deck (for safety, champagne flutes, tumblers and wine goblets provided are polycarbonate for use in the hot tub). The decking area can also accommodate hammocks provided, the area to the south has a corner rattan sofas and large table and the dinner table and seats for four and with the down lighters in the evenings along the soffit overhang of the home, creates a perfect area for relaxation.. Additional shade can also be introduced by raising both the three metre sails. NEW in 2020 is "The Retreat" this covered alfresco area is created by a "Dutch Barn Style" barrel vaulted roof, over the entire patio and corrugated steel walls give privacy along the property boundary, as this area closes of the south facing decking and provide access to the back of the property. This area is larger than the indoor lounge and kitchen put together, and the "Retreat" has three main purposes, to shelter you when the weather is too hot, wet, cold or snowing, for you to cook, as the area has a three burner gas BBQ (Full set of tools provided for BBQing) and preparation table for those who love all year outside cooking and to relax at night, on the sofa and chairs surround your very own gas fire-pit, the area has ferns and natural stone paving throughout, flanked by solar lighting and wood chipping on the boarders, also we have an area for those wishing to smoke. If you hanker for straying a bit further in the outdoors, then down the stairs off the decking into miles of woodland walks (map on the wall of the 500 acres in total without crossing a road) or, venture onto the adjacent heathland on bikes, which we can organise hire for your stay if you would like? Even if you clock up the miles on your walk, you will be lucky to come across anyone else, but you will find miles more beautiful scenery without a house in sight. Just as with the views from the decking around Stiltz! We except guests with well-behaved pets, but we require information on your pet before we accept the booking. We want your stay to meet our high standards, and so, we like to change the water in the hot tub between every guest, but this takes more than 12-15 hours to empty, refill and get back to the correct temperature, therefore to allow this to happen, we do appreciate a prompt departure to allow us to be able to do this for our next guests. However, if we do not have guests arriving the following afternoon we are happy to be more flexible on departure times, so please just ask. Also, weekends are our most popular time for bookings, so we do discount week nights and longer stays! With only one bedroom Stiltz normally only caters for 2 adults maximum, some guests have wanted to bring their children, as previously stated, we do not recommend toddlers or the disabled to stay due to the lodge layout and safety around the hot tub, steps and decking, but babies not walking are welcome. The car parking space is covered by CCTV for security, but the CCTV does not cover the hottub and private Garden and decking areas. Please browse our pictures, although our guests (and us) don't believe they do Stiltz the justice it deserves!! Why not come see for yourselves!! We do ask for a minimum stay of two nights, this is because cleaning, inside and out thoroughly can take three to four hours. Also, the emptying, filling and regular maintenance of the hot tub has to be completed and returning it to operating temperature can take many hours. We always clean and flush the hot tub every week, and it is only for your exclusive use only during your stay. Stiltz is completely separate fromTop Farm and just so you are aware the field to the south-west has caravans and the field to the south-east has camping pitches, also the camping pitches can be used for Weddings in the summer and the area becomes busier in the School Summer Holiday periods, however, there is no access to the field around Stiltz by any other people than yourselves, it is totally private, and all the facilities, including the hot tub, parking are for the exclusive use of you and your guest during your stay and is very nicely tucked away from view. However, it’s charm can be felt in the Autumn and Winter months, the area is so quite and it feels like you are the only people for miles around!
    We have had some fantastic reviews, and we attract guests hunting for what we offer, therefore we want to be clear on what you can expect so you can then have the very best experience and therefore Stiltz can not be suitable for everyone or all tastes, it is very rural and designed for couples wanting to get away from it all and some guests are disappointed as we do not have good reliable wifi, so during your stay if you can't live a couple of days without a stable super fast wifi connection then I recommend a city break, respectfully, we are in the "sticks" and would not want you to think otherwise. Also if you can't find the date you want or you want no steps and a flat entrance to the building then you can book "the Lodge" same features, all new and it can be more peaceful as at certain times the field next to Stiltz is hosted by the owners of the farm (not us!) for weddings and other events, and at these times Stiltz is normally booked for the bride and groom. So Stiltz is very quite 90% of the time but at busier periods music can be heard at these times, please ask if this a concern and we can check what's on and also the lodge is tucked around the other side of the farm so is more private and more enclosed if that is a must, please book the place that most suits your needs ! But most of all this is an ideallic and remote spot loved by all! You might want help with Bike hire, we can do that so it is all sorted, hats, lights and locks for your arrival, look at above guest access section it has full details, plus details on Tesco or Sainsbury delivery for when or before they arrive, just ask and we can agree the slot and order all your goodies to maximise your time in the Hottub or exploring the woods! Guests have commented that the pictures we post do not do Stiltz justice and we love that! We have gone to extra lengths on the detail, the mattress was one of the most expensive available and framed by a hand made four poster bed, the cost coffee machine would set you back a pretty penny, but it is not about how much we spend on the stuff inside and out. We keep the freshest coffee beans in the fridge for that perfect cup of coffee, Our cleaner spends 3-4 hours after every guest departure making sure it is spotless, we want you stay to be perfect and for us it has to be very clean, and that goes for the Hottub, we spend many hours after every guest, cleaning pipes, changing / cleaning filters, changing water and cleaning the tub and did I say fresh water, it is a major exercise as the hot tub takes an hour to empty, over two to fill, and it can take eight hours or more to reach the ideal temperature, so if we don't have time we can do a partial change, and a deep clean, as we look to to do a full change every week, not the two months as recommended by the manufacturer and as others do, on top and as a matter of course we balance the water condition twice daily, for us this has to be clean as, you would not want to share someone else's bath! We had our first guest propose in the Hottub in December, there are some occasions best remembered under a carpet of stars in a dark sky in water set to 103 degrees with a 4,500 bubbles per second, we set the seen as best we can, we do the detail so you can forget it! But we have had guests whom have spent till 5am in the Hottub and slept till 3pm, we do not do your normal week, if you live in Essex, Devon, London or Hertfordshire, you will have an experience designed to be far away from the routine and some time away from the buzz with someone special! Our guests can enjoy their stay, relaxing in the hot tub on the outdoor decked area, with commanding views over the peaceful North Norfolk countryside surrounding Stiltz Lodge, or BBQ on the decked area to the rear and lounge in a hammock!! We decorate in side and out at Christmas. If you are planning a special break then you we often surprise our guests with a complementary Bottle of prosecco on ice with glasses, that way your holiday can start the second you arrive and if it is chilly you will find a roaring waiting for you to toast your toes! If you are unsure read the reviews, or stay and be miles away from the daily graft and write your own story! We like our guests to enjoy their stay, some regular Airbnb guests and new to us have said Stiltz is the best place they have ever stayed, find out?

  • Wir hatten die beste Zeit auf unserem Mini Moon, ein fantastisches Ende des perfektesten Wochenendes. Die Aussicht ist himmlisch, wir saßen im Whirlpool und schauten zu den Sternen und es war einfach magisch, viele Sternschnuppen zu sehen. Das Hotel war makellos mit vielen zusätzlichen Extras, so froh, dass wir uns für dieses Hotel entschieden haben. Wenn es nur einen Sturz gäbe, wären es die Fliegen, aber mit der Hitze und den atemberaubenden Aussichten hat uns das nicht allzu sehr getroffen (plus das Fliegen-Spray hat geholfen) - wir würden uns davon auf keinen Fall abschrecken lassen !! Vielen Dank für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und freuen uns schon auf unser Jubiläum !!

    The Log Cabin, in Lyng is an idyllic getaway cottage, overlooking the River Wensum in Norfolk. Cosy open plan living, with a super-king bed, shower, small kitchenette, wooden flooring and lovely wood burning stove! Welcome pack on arrival, includes, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and a bottle of wine. The cabin is located in a private 2 acre grounds with two other holiday rentals that share the same driveway. Ideal with you are a large group.
    The Log Cabin is a bijoux living space, perfect for a couple of night's escape, set in the beautiful Wensum Valley. Overlooking the 16th Century Mill House and pond in Lyng, with easy access to wonderful walks, nature reserves and access to fish on the Lyng Mill Pond. Access to the Log Cabin is via a porch at the front. There is a wooden outside cupboard for dirty boots and extra wood for the burner .
    Wonderful walks next to the Lyng lakes which is known for its wildlife. Fishing access available on request. The award winning Fox Pub is 5 minutes walk, which offers a great range of food, wines and local beer. The village shop, Lyng Stores, is a 5 minute walk, offering provisions and a café (perfect for tea and cakes after a long walk). 30 minutes drive to the beach. 20 minutes from the historic city of Norwich.

    The cabin is a light comfortable carefully designed and newly built Scandanavian style self-contained building with a complete kitchen, separate shower room and pull down Very comfortable Queen sized bed. It has a television with integral DvD player and heating under the wooden floor. Great Wi-fi, Contemporary lighting. Please note that hot water runs for 5mins very hot then takes 30 mins to reheat to same temp. Please don't change the settings as this will blow the thermostat.
    The cabin is in my garden, with parking and just one minute fom the quay And it’s own private patio.. It is central to the shops and restaurants and bars in lovely Wells. Twenty minutes walk to the beach. I make sure that essentials like tea and coffee are available. The bed is made up and there are lots of towels. Shampoo, shower gel and washing up liquid are also ready to go! The kitchen is well equipped for two guests.
    Wells is lovely. The sea when the tide is up. Early mornings, the beach. The super independent shops, the pubs, cafes and delis. The ease of living in a small town with a bank, post office and friendly neighbours!

    Wood Lodge is a lovely self catering holiday get away in North Runcton, Norfolk, close to the stunning North Norfolk coast, Sandringham Estate and North Norfolk Nature Reserve. Wood Lodge has the benefit of being located near some of the country's most stunning scenery, comprising of country estates, beaches, bird watching and various walks. You will also find other activities and outings to suit a variety of interests, ages and, of course, English weather situations!
    Wood Lodge, a self contained property, is newly renovated to a high standard focusing on comfortable living for either a family, friends or couples wishing for time away. Wood Lodge comprises of 2 double bedrooms, one downstairs bedroom with 1 double bed and an upstairs bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen and bathroom (both downstairs) have just been refurbished, making the accommodation very comfortable. Within the living area there are 2 large sofas, television with DVD player, dining table and chairs for up to 6 people. Outside there is a large garden area (sole use for Wood Lodge) with picnic table, great for children to spread their legs! WIFI is available throughout the lodge. Robbie reagiert schnell auf jeden Kontakt, hat uns aber nie das Gefühl gegeben, dass er nebenan ist !!!!! Die Lodge ist ein stilvoller und einfacher Ort zum Entspannen. Die Küche und Annehmlichkeiten sorgten gut für unsere Partei. Die Schlafzimmer ermöglichen private Plätze für den Fall, dass der offene Wohnbereich lebendig wird! Das Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock ist über eine Treppe zugänglich, die ein hohes Maß an Fitness erfordert. Das Winterwetter hatte auf der unbefestigten Zufahrtsstraße seinen Tribut gefordert. Achten Sie also auf das seltsame Schlagloch, aber denken Sie daran, es führt zu einem ruhigen Ort mit einem schönen kleinen Shetlandpony auf dem Feld in der Nähe der Lodge. Die Lodge ist ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort - wir werden wiederkommen, da unsere Familie in der Nähe ist und obwohl die Lodge etwa 10 Minuten von Kings Lynn entfernt ist, fühlt es sich an, als wäre sie mitten in der Landschaft von Norfolk.

  • Dies war das zweite Mal, dass wir hier waren. Diesmal war mit 2 kleinen Kindern. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt, viel Platz, sauber und viel Platz für ein Reisebett im Hauptschlafzimmer. Es war sehr hilfreich, einen Hochstuhl zu haben, den wir benutzen konnten, und all die kleinen Dinge wie Handwäsche, Spülmittel usw. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

    Pretty, very light and spacious living areas with a lovely, totally private, enclosed south- facing garden and outside dining area with table, chairs and BBQ. Traditional, cosy cottage decor with plenty of homely touches and a mix of antique, vintage and modern furniture and fabrics plus a driftwood floor in the living room / dining area.Fully equipped kitchen with oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Travel cot (no bedding), stair gate and high chair. Wifi included. Wood-burning stove for the colder months. Some wood provided, more available at cost. Oil-fired central heating. Additional electric room heaters. Please be aware that the twin bedroom is accessed via the single bedroom; both have doors. BBQ and outdoor furniture available for use. Lots and lots of toys, games, books and DVDs; large TV. Off-road parking space for up to three cars on site, directly in front of the cottage. Active local pub (Jolly Farmers a 2 minute walk), and half a mile from Creake Abbey which has a really good restaurant/café, great outside space with toys and little tractors and an award-winning farmers' market plus many other events throughout the year. Burnham Market is 2 miles away, with its famous hat shop and much else to offer for a wander round. Fabulous beaches at Wells, Holkham, Burnham Overy Staithe, Titchwell, Brancaster and Hunstanton (plus many more) are within a short drive. The first 3 are the nearest and are 3-5 miles away.
    North Creake has a friendly local pub within a short walk of the cottage. Creake Abbey, renowned for its restaurant, farmers' market and craft fairs, is under half a mile away. There is a huge network of excellent footpaths on the doorstep for dog-walkers. There are some great pubs and eateries nearby, including the Duck in Stanhoe and the Black Lion in Walsingham. The cottage has a pair of resident tawny owls and swifts nest in the roof in the summer months, which is increasingly rare around here. The cottage is 2 miles from Burnham Market and within 5 miles of Burnham Overy Staithe, Holkham, Wells and Brancaster beaches which, if you do not already know them, are well worth googling as they are amazing.

A large bed room with a king size bed, all Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided. Plenty of storage plus dressing table. The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave, hob, oven and fridge. A small freezer can be found in the hallway cupboard. There are communal washing machines and tumble dryers which are free to use for guests. The lounge is equipped with wifi, flat screen TV, dvd and music system. There are some guides, maps, books, games and dvd's left for guests to use. There is a small table for dining with views out to the sea. The bathroom has a bath with a full height electric shower. In the garden room downstairs there are extra chairs and deck chairs for guests use. There is a torch provided in the hall way cupboard for evening refreshment strolls and binoculars for wildlife viewing.
    Every visit to Brancaster is special with the amazing sandy beach, fantastic award winning pub The Ship Inn, great sunsets, and a wonderful opportunity to be close to to renowned RSPB centre at Titchwell. Close to the shopping delights of Burnham Market and a host of great local eateries, attractions and beaches. Wells 6 miles, Burnham Market 3 miles, Thornham 3 miles and Holkham 5 miles. all serviced by the local friendly coast hopper bus service so you can walk and talk as far as you wish then jump on the hopper home. Everything is chilled and relaxed here in Brancaster. Enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery, local eateries, and shopping this area affords.

    One well behaved dog is welcome. (Small additional charge). Brancaster Bakery Cottage is a newly refurbished, self contained, 1-bed flint and chalk cottage adjoining The Old Bakery in the heart of Brancaster village. Guests have off street parking and use of large attractive gardens. It is only 2 minutes walk from The Ship Hotel, which serves lunch and dinner. The spectacular Brancaster Beach with its miles of golden sands is an easy walk along the Marsh Path.
    Brancaster Bakery Cottage (reputedly the flour store for the bakery in its day) has a fully fitted kitchen with new AEG dishwasher, washer-drier, oven, hob, Bosch Fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver socket. The luxurious bedroom has a king-sized White Company bed and super-comfy mattress, with Egyptian cotton Designers' Guild bedding. The living room has modern sofa and easy chair, dining table, coffee table and flat screen TV. Guests have their own outside sitting area with table and chairs. Or guests can make use of seating in the extensive garden. Tea and cake will be offered on arrival.
    Brancaster is a jewel set in North Norfolk's coast. It has a beautiful local beach with miles of wide sand and open skies. The historic Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is here and in the local villages you will find sailing at Brancaster Staite, shopping in Burnham Market and all the other attractions of North Norfolk. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Titchwell is just down the road. Bring your binoculars! Nature lovers will find much to see, and the famous Norfolk skies give superb star-gazing. The area is exceptionally well provided with excellent pubs and restaurants, so you will always find fabulous food and drink if you don't want to self-cater. It is truly a foodies paradise. When in season the famous Brancaster mussels are a plumptious treat. Other fish are also caught locally. The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe has it's own smokehouse and Gurney's fish shop has two outlets. Drove Orchards and the Thornham Deli are just down the road if you do need provisions for picnic lunches or supplies to cook dinner.

    Philip's place is located in Holme-next-the-Sea, England, United Kingdom. You are staying a few minutes walk from Holme Beach - at the last house on Beach Road (the original Peddars Way) - so can swim in the sea at dawn, during the day, at dusk or even by the starlight. Walk with your dog for miles. You'll be right by the Norfolk Coastal path, Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, the Bird Observatory and the Hunstanton Golf Club championship links course. You can hear the sea from your front door. We are in a Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), where the Wash meets the North Sea. It's a couple of minutes to the Norfolk Coastal path - so walkers walk to Thornham, Brancaster or further and hop back on the bus which drops you at the top of Beach Road on the A149. You'll soak in the dunes, marsh and sea - or walk along the Hun river and see resident and migrating birds. You could also hear the natterjack toads and see butterflies, moths and dragonflies, as well as a large number of interesting plants including mulleins flowering in our wild garden. If you are a golfer, you can play Hunstanton Golf Club's superb championship links course. It's 125 years old and rated as one of Britain & Ireland's 'Top 100' courses, with the rolling fairways nestling in a stunning landscape of dunes and links grassses. You can also play at the Heacham Manor. If you secure a round at the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club at Brancaster, you'll need to park your car and walk when the tide is high. Various military remains from WWII can be seen at Holme, including the remains of a target-railway used to train artillery. Much earlier remains have also been discovered including an ancient walkway, Roman pottery and saxon fishtraps. In 1998, a well-preserved Bronze Age timber circle, now known as ‘Seahenge’ was uncovered by high tides. The timbers were treated in the Mary Rose laboratory and are now in the museum at King's Lynn. King's Lynn was a Hanseatic town - and is worth a visit. Seahenge 2 is difficult to discern - and often covered by sand. Walk to the cliffs at Hunstanton for fossil hunting and to see one of 2 boat wrecks easily visible at low tide. The other is on Holme Beach between Gore Point and the Firs. Birdwatchers may see wintering thrushes on the sea buckthorn, or avocets, a beautiful black-and-white wader with upturned bill and long legs, on the freshwater. Wheatears and warblers are common in spring and finches and thrushes in the autumn - sometimes there'll be scarcer migrants such as the ring ouzel, wryneck, yellow-browed warbler or barred warbler. It's a great place to seawatch for gannets, skuas, terns and divers. Knot, golden plover and oyster catchers can be seen on the beach. Our wild garden is alive - with our sparrows and starlings nesting in the roof. It makes the front door and the bench a little untidy sometimes! If they have a safe migration, you will also hear the cuckoos in spring and the turtledoves in summer. ✯ 2019: Cuckoos arrived safely - and one is still calling in July. ✯ The turtledove have safely arrived from their perilous migration. You'll hear their distinctive purring and may be lucky enough see them too. ✯ On warmer nights, the Natterjack toads call. ✯ This is the only part of the east coast of England where the sun sets over the sea, providing lovely views in both summer and winter. Our favourite places to see the sunset are a stroll up the coastal path to Gore Point, or a few minutes over the golf course to a seat on the top of dunes. Visit one of the great houses - Sandringham (the Queen's residence), Holkham Hall, Houghton ( the Henry Moore exhibition), Felbrigg, Blickling Hall and Oxburgh Hall. Shop locally: Lots of choice from: - the award winning Hunstanton Deli, England's largest joke shop, Richard's Cook Shop, the best fish and chips at Fishers of Hunstanton, several proper barbers and more at Hunstanton - Drove Orchards (farm shop with swallows nesting, pick your own and apple juice, fishmongers, smokery, ice cream, excellent fish & chips at Eric's, good food at the Yurt, a butchers and more) - Thornham Deli - The General Store Ringstead with over 70 Real Ales, brewed and crafted in Norfolk and 9 rooms and 2 courtyards of eclectic new and old Hidden Treasures. - Shops at Burnham Deepdale & Burnham Market - The Real Ale Shop on the Holkham Estate - brewing on site - Wells Next the Sea - classic harbour where you can go crabbing - Holt - charming Georgian town with great shops, especially Bakers & Larners - established 1770 - an exceptional department store, stocked with good taste (closed Sundays) and lots of eating places Eat out: There's lots of good food: - The Neptune (book in advance) - The Dabbling Duck (book in advance) - Drove Farm - The Yurt - late breakfasts and good food - Eric's - great fish & chips, homemade tartar sauce and Elvis Juice! - The White Horse at Brancaster - fabulous views across the marshes and perfect for crab, salad and new potatoes in season (book in advance for a view from the dining room, or take you chance for the terrace or the bar). - The NWT visitor centre at Cley - good for coffee and a cake and views across the reserve.     Forget-me-not Cottage has been refurbished in February. It is a lovely cottage, very cosy and relaxing. It has all the things you could need for a holiday very close by. We are dog friendly at the cottage and welcome your pooch. The cottage will be cleaned thoroughly before your stay. We have buckets and spades for you to take to the beach to make the perfect sandcastle - you’re never too old to make a sandcastle :-) please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
    The cottage is 5 minutes away from the beach, Hunstanton golf club and The Neptune, a Michelin star restaurant (booking required). Also close by is Titchwell for bird watching. Sandingham is a 10 minute drive away. Petals Tea Rooms is great to stop off at for afternoon tea or a cuppa and a slice of cake. Also in Hunstanton Town, which you can walk to is a swimming pool and another lovely beach with arcades and a funfair. 2 minutes walk away is the local, The Lodge, which offers lovely meals and a great beer with garden. There is a play park directly over the road from the cottage and a local shop which offers fresh croissants and other delicious treats.
    Old Hunstanton is the place to be. There are leaflets at the cottage to let you know of the many places nearby to visit. I can also advise you further if you would like details

  • Nach 4 Nächten war dies die perfekte Basis, um Old Hunstanton zu genießen. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt und kurz vor dem Strand befindet sich das Old Boathouse Cafe, in dem wir jeden Tag das Frühstück genossen haben. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat eine angenehme Größe für 4 Erwachsene und einen Hund! Mit kleinen Extras wie einer Kaffeemaschine, Tee und sogar Hundekuchen ist es einfach, sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Es war der erste Urlaub unserer Welpen und er schien jede Minute zu lieben! Die hintere Terrasse ist auch eine brillante kleine Sonnenfalle. Ich würde es wärmstens empfehlen und habe schon von einem Gegenbesuch gesprochen!

  • Die Hütte ist schön innen, gut gepflegt und sehr gemütlich und praktisch für den Strand. Parkplätze befinden sich an der Rückseite der Unterkunft. Es gibt zwei schöne Pubs in der Nähe, die beide gutes Essen servieren. Die Strände sind super und sehr sauber, wir hatten ein 4-tägiges Wochenende und es war eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Situated right on the edge of the wild salt marshes with a 10 minute walk along the sea bank to get to the famous beach at Brancaster. It is a very special place to stay and you will almost certainly see some of the following. Marsh Harriers, Buzzards, Pink Foot Geese, Woodpeckers and of course the resident Barn Owl, Simon. It really is a complete haven for all manner of wildlife. There is a private garden area separated from the bigger house Little Saltings, which can also be rented through Air BNB. This sleeps 8 so in total the two properties will sleep 10. The sitting room is compact but perfect for two. With French doors to the garden, a comfortable sofa, a leather chair, electric stove, table and chairs and TV and DVD player. There is WiFi available. The kitchen is a galley style, and pretty well equipped. The bedroom has a comfy Super King size bed, which everyone who stays say they get the best nights sleep in! There is a bathroom with bath and shower over WC and basin. A short walk into the village takes you to The Ship pub, which is great for food and you can catch the Coast Hopper bus from the top of the road if you don't want to drive along the coast. Very handy! There are no street lights along the track so it is wonderful for star gazing. Bring a torch if you are arriving after dark though!

    We live in a end terrace 120yr old property, with views over the The Walks . We have three rooms available, 1 Superking, 1 double and this queen size. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. There is also a second toilet on this floor. All rooms have a small amount of shelf storage available. The rooms are on the side of the house, away from the main road, so are lovely and quiet. All three rooms are listed separately but we are happy to take a booking for all three if they are available. There's tea/coffee making facilities in your room too if you want it. One or two person occupancy same price. Wi-Fi available. TV/DVD player in Bedroom 1. Shared TV/DVD in main lounge.

Obwohl ich um 6 Uhr morgens aufwachte, wachte auch Johns Frau auf, um mir Frühstück zu machen, und gab mir einen Einwegbecher für meinen Tee, während ich in den Bus eilte. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt eine Woche später, weil ich meinen vergessen hatte, lieh sie mir eine Augenklappe, damit ich schlafen konnte. Die ganze Familie ist auch sehr gastfreundlich und sie haben einen sehr schönen Ort. Das nächste Mal, wenn ich in King's Lynn ein BnB brauche, werde ich auf jeden Fall ihren Platz überprüfen.     We have 5 friendly Mups n Pups! Fireman's Cottage was built in 1623 and sits in the grounds of Hunstanton Hall and Park. The grounds are only open to the public on Thursdays and even then people must be on foot and keep to the top roadway. A 14th Century moat runs through the garden, separating the cottage from Hunstanton Hall Tranquility in an idyllic location! Such peace and quiet to hear and see wildlife: Muntjac deer, Buzzards, Owls etc The Norfolk coast is a big draw for birdwatching
    PLEASE READ carefully :) ... Within these historic walls reside 5 friendly, furry DOGS/pups. Because we are aware that our communal hallways/landings are dog/puppy runways and therefore far from immaculate, we are not fussy about people entering these areas in their shoes; nor do we wish to be judged as such, especially as we are forewarning people. If a completely spotless environment is what you require, then our humble abode will not suit your style :) This is very much a traveller's place for rest and respite, a living home, not a glamourous hotel. The Eves bedroom is on the 2nd floor which has a lovely view through the velux window. The room has a Kingsize bed, single wardrobe for hanging space and drawer space in bedside tables. There are two solid oak high stools to sit and look out of the window as well as a small armchair underneath a reading spotlight. There is also a desk and computer table where a laptop could be used. There are no kitchen/cooking facilities but a fridge and electric kettle are provided along with cups and saucers and drinking glasses, and the use of a microwave could be made available along with dishes and cutlery, but the guest(s) would be responsible for their own washing-up. A sponge-cloth, washing liquid and a teatowel are provided in the bathroom. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom for the sole use of the guest(s). There is a DVD player and we can offer a small selection of films etc to borrow. We can also provide some board games which can be requested upon arrival (Scrabble, Backgammon, Monopoly etc). Because of the nature of the location, guests must respect the privacy of the other properties and residents and not go wandering around. Please take note again: 5 friendly dogs live here. We can accommodate a guest dog with prior discussions, because of our gang and the bedroom generally being kept dog-free:) 1 mile walk to the beach, door to dunes. Motorbikes and bicycles can be securely parked
    Although the area is named as Hunstanton Park, it is privately owned by the Le Strange Estate, who equally own Old Hunstanton beach. There are a few residents in the surrounding dwellings who, like us, own their own properties including sections of the roadway, it is the woods and farmland that the Estate own. There is an incredible amount of fascinating history surrounding the area. The village of Old Hunstanton originates from the 13th Century. It is divided by the coast road. The Cottage being on the side of the original village, duck pond, 14th Century Church and the Hall of course. The village has places to eat and drink:- Caley Hall Hotel, The Lodge, The Ancient Mariner, Le Strange Arms Hotel and The Neptune (Michelin star restaurant). There is also the Post Office/village shop and The Old School Hairdressers/Barbers and Beauticians. The beach is approximately 15 minutes walk from door to the dunes across the golf course. There is the lovely Old Boat Cafe by the beach, opposite the RNLI station Old Hunstanton beach is fantastic for sunsets, walks and joins onto the RSPB sanctuary and Nature Reserve.. The Victorian town of Hunstanton is just round the corner, with local shops, supermarkets, garage and services etc.

    The Hideaway is a contemporary newly renovated period cottage tucked away in Docking village. Its new owners have transformed this cottage into a stylish holiday home by creating a light and spacious open plan sitting area with a wood-burning stove and a newly fitted kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a modern shower room, making this perfect for a couple or a family. Outside there's a rear enclosed courtyard garden ideal for dining al fresco. It is conveniently located in the Docking village, set back from the road, within walking distance to a village pub, shop, thriving fish & chip shop, children's playground and fishing lake. The charming Georgian village of Burnham Market, plus the beautiful coast at Brancaster and Thornham are only 10 minutes drive away. Dogs are not permitted
    Ground Floor Downstairs has been completely refurbished with an open plan spacious sitting and dining area with oak flooring, leading through into the kitchen. Cloak/utility room: hand basin, WC, chrome heated towel rail and a washing machine. Sitting area: lovely light and spacious area furnished in a contemporary style with a newly installed wood-burning stove and steps leading up the the new kitchen area. All newly furnished in 2018 with a large grey fabric sofa, two built-in bookshelves with a good selection of books and DVDs for guests to enjoy, comfy bench seat with cushions (over handy built-in storage cupboards), foot-stool and flat screen freeview digital TV and a DVD player. Kitchen area: contemporary new kitchen well-equipped with an electric oven, microwave, slim-line dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There's a skylight and glazed doors, opening out to the courtyard garden, making it feel light and airy. For dining there's a white kitchen table with four stools. The staircase is not steep and there is a hand rail. First Floor Bedroom 1: well presented with a king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and clothes hanging hooks. Bedroom 2: a smaller room with twin beds, a central bedside table and lamp and built-in overhead storage cupboards. Shower room: superb contemporary newly fitted walk-in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC. There is a travel cot available if required (conveniently stored in the cupboard under the stairs) and a highchair (stored in the cupboard in the sitting area). Outside Although there is no designated off-street parking spaces there are no parking restrictions in Docking village and it is usually possible to park nearby the cottage. At the back of the cottage is a fully enclosed walled courtyard garden which is paved, with a wooden picnic bench. There is a pathway from the side of the cottage with a wrought iron gate leading to the garden.
    Docking All roads in North Norfolk seem to lead to Docking. It's a busy village with an excellent small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, blacksmith, village pub, a large village playing field, tennis court and bowling green. It also has its own weekly village market every Wednesday morning at The Ripper Hall between 9am and 1pm, where a great selection of local produce is available. On Mondays freshly cooked wood-fired pizzas are available from Bordolis outside Ripper Hall - delicious! Docking also has its own coarse fishing lake that is available on a day ticket basis. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk Coast and its long, fine sandy beaches. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about five miles away. There are two golf courses in Hunstanton, which is less than eight miles away. The Titchwell Bird Reserve, home to terns and waders is close by. The ultra fashionable Georgian village of Burnham Market, Sandringham and the market towns of Fakenham and King's Lynn are also nearby.

    Bright, clean and lovely single room in beautiful converted chapel home in small village 5 mins from King's Lynn. N.B- 2 double rooms on other listings also available separately. Help yourself Breakfast included- tea, coffee, cereals, toast. Room 3: Very small room with single bed, TV with Netflix’s, no wardrobe but hangers available on hooks for back of door. Towels available if required. Tea/ coffee making in room available. Small desk and chair in room, window has blackout blind, skylight window has no blind. central heating for when its cold. We have 2 beautiful double rooms and a small single room available for guests. Our home is an old converted chapel, and downstairs is fully open plan. Kitchen/ dining: Modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave. Kitchen shared with owners. Very happy for you to cook meals and supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. Large table with seating for 6 people. Bathroom: lovely deep bath with seperate shower cubicle and power shower. Towels available if needed. Bathroom is for guests only and if other bedroom in use will be shared with those guests, but if only you staying then will be sole use. We are very happy to interact when home, but equally respect that some guests will want their own space/ peace so very chilled about amount of interaction. We live in a small village 5 mins drive from King's Lynn. There are a few local shops- a post office, general store, lovely fish and chip shop ( that also does pizza and kebabs), a hairdresser opposite which the owner uses and recommends and of course the amazing butcher that people travel from all over King's Lynn to visit and buy their meat. You can get takeaway deliveries- Domino, Pizza Hut, Indian- the only thing we would like is for you to eat in the dining area instead of rooms (or outside of course). We are 2 mins walk from the little ferry that will take you across the water into King's Lynn town centre- a lovely way to see the sights and do shopping. Parking available on drive- space for guest 2 cars. No parking restrictions in the road and plenty of space to park. Bus stop 2 mins walk away- takes you to the train station, bus station and town centre. Train station 10 mins bus ride away. Ferry into town is excellent- and just behind our house. We have 3 cats- who can have scatty 10 mins and tear about but all are very sweet natured so if you like cats they will absolutely love strokes. If we are away we have a neighbour feed them in the morning and evening but if you wish to do this and avoid being disturbed please let us know. As we have cats, we ask you not to bring any pets with you- sorry! Babies/ children of all ages very welcome however single room not big enough for travel cot. Child could however stay in room if parent/s have booked the double.

  • 5 Sterne für alles! Gary wartete am Bahnhof auf mich und fuhr mich nach West Lynn, da die Fähre nicht mehr lief. Wir hatten großartige Chats und fühlten uns total willkommen bei Debbi, Garys Frau und drei tollen Katzen. Das Haus ist warm, gemütlich, super sauber und ordentlich, tolle Dusche und mir wurde sogar angeboten, eine heiße Badewanne zu nehmen. Gary gab mir einige Tipps, was ich sehen sollte, und fand heraus, wohin ich mit dem Bus für einen Tagesausflug fahren sollte. Er brachte mich neulich zum Bahnhof. Ich hatte einen exzellenten Aufenthalt in einem der besten Airbnb's, in denen ich je übernachtet habe.

    The Potting Shed is built into the walled garden of the Fring Estate. It offers a couple the perfect getaway with a terrace in both sides getting morning and afternoon sun. The property has recently been converted and has a king bed with wet room and a kitchen living space. The afternoon terrace has an outside bath over looking the park of Fring Hall and the evening sunset. It is a magical retreat for couples to enjoy, walks through the park to the sunset mound for the last light are unmissable.
    The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is charming with vaulted ceiling and unpainted walls which retain the authenticity of the building and create a striking contrast. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed and comes with Belfast sink with brass taps along with most of the appliances you would expect (but not everything and that is part of its charm!) What you won’t expect though is the outside bath tub, which you can fill with hot water and bubbles and enjoy a glass of champagne as you watch the sun go down on another day. Inside the sleeping space is divine with vaulted ceiling, exposed wooden beams and velux window which makes the room beautifully bright during the day and at night offers a glimpse of the blanket of stars above. After a deep, restorative nights' sleep in the double bed, treat yourself to breakfast in bed and open the door to the front terrace to let the sunshine in. The wet room next door has a surprisingly spacious walk-in shower with a large rose. There is a smart TV, but no satellite. The whole idea of this little retreat though is to get away from the influences of every day life hence, no terrestrial TV. Outside you have a private fenced terrace to the front with table and two chairs which overlooks the cottages in the walled garden and to the rear, a private open fenced terrace and lawned garden with garden furniture offering extensive views over the Fring Estate and the surrounding rural landscape.
    Fring is a small village just tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The famous Pedders way runs through the estate and all the way to the coast running past pubs and through open fields which makes a lovely day out. There are numerous footpaths to explore and bikes can be rented to go further afield.

Ideal gelegen, weniger als eine Meile von der Küste entfernt und in einem Dorf mit drei Kneipen, die Speisen anbieten, einem Feinkostladen und einem Fish & Chips-Shop. Die Hütte war sehr sauber und gepflegt und hatte alles, was man sich wünschen konnte. Nur eine Kleinigkeit, auf die Sie achten sollten - für diejenigen mit schlechten Rücken / gefrorenen Schultern / dumpfigen Hüften usw. - die Betten sind extrem weich (es kann sein, dass Sie es nicht gewohnt sind ...) Ansonsten perfekt: D

  • Wunderschönes kleines Ferienhaus in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Bei der Ankunft werden Sie mit einem Willkommenspaket begrüßt. Milch, Eier, Brot usw. Es fällt sofort auf, wie sauber und gemütlich die Hütte ist (der Gastgeber hatte vor unserer Ankunft sogar die Heizung eingeschaltet, als wir im Dezember zu Besuch waren). Tolle Lage für verschiedene Wanderungen, ideal, da wir unseren Hund mitgebracht hatten. Ich würde Sheringham Country Park (ca. 55 Minuten mit dem Auto) und Brancaster Beach (nächstes Dorf gegenüber) als Sehenswürdigkeiten empfehlen. Es gibt auch ein paar nette Kneipen in der Umgebung, falls Sie abends etwas essen oder trinken möchten. Ich werde Corrines Hotel an Freunde weiterempfehlen und könnte es eines Tages in der Zukunft wieder besuchen - danke für ein entspanntes Wochenende!

Thornham hatte alles, was wir brauchten, wir frühstückten im Deli, Nachmittagstee im Rettungsboot und Abendessen im Orangenbaum. Alles Gut! Die Hütte war sauber und komfortabel und perfekter Garten und Platz für unsere zwei Hunde. Eier, Milch, Butter und Brot waren für uns übrig geblieben und auch Hundeleckereien - wirklich nachdenklich.   • Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Sandpiper Cottage geliebt. Als vierköpfige Familie hatte es alles, was wir brauchten, von den bequemen Betten über die Kaffeemaschine bis hin zur umfangreichen Film- und Büchersammlung. Die Mädchen liebten besonders den Garten und den Spielbereich, der selbst im tiefsten dunkelsten November gut genutzt wurde. Die Lage war hervorragend. Ein kurzer Spaziergang über das Feld und wir probierten die Köstlichkeiten von Thornham Deli, die Village Hall und den Spielbereich. Titchwell RSPB Reserve ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Spot auf! Wir freuen uns sehr, wieder hier zu übernachten.

    The Nook is a perfect retreat on the North Norfolk coast. Small in size but big in style and equipment to make your stay a real lazy, relaxing get away. Cost of heating, water, electric included. Small double bed with linen supplied. Microwave/oven available to use. 5 mins walk to the sea and 2 mins walk to the town centre which is full of small eclectic shops and restaurants with a coastal feel. The NNR steams from Sheringham to Holt. Rail links also to Norwich from Sheringham via Cromer.
    There is plenty to do in and around Sheringham. Steam and diesel railway links, golf (Sheringham and Cromer), sandy blue flag award beaches, excellent paths for walking and exploring, great Coast Hopper bus service, cycle hire, Splash indoor swimming and fitness centre - and much, much more.
  • Dies ist ein erstaunlicher kleiner Ort, so gut durchdacht und gestaltet. Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im The Nook über Ostern und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das The Nook ist nicht nur äußerst komfortabel, sondern auch buchstäblich nur wenige Minuten von einigen schönen Restaurants und der Küste entfernt.   • Ich war für vier Nächte allein im Nook, als ich an der Küste von North Norfolk Urlaub machte. Ich fand es genau so wie beschrieben. Das Nook ist klein, aber gut gestaltet, eher gemütlich als eng. Alle Geräte, die ich benutzte (Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Toaster) funktionierten gut, genauso wie die Dusche. Ich hatte mir ein wenig Sorgen gemacht, dass das Schlafsofa Schmerzen bereiten würde, aber es war wirklich einfach, es auf- und abzusetzen. All dies sorgte für einen wirklich erholsamen und angenehmen Aufenthalt. Kevin und Liz waren von Anfang an schnell und klar mit ihrer Kommunikation. Sie hinterließen eine äußerst detaillierte Mappe mit Informationen und Anweisungen, die mir dabei halfen, mich schnell im Nook zurechtzufinden. Die Kekse und der Prosecco, die sie zurückließen, halfen auch in dieser Hinsicht! Für diejenigen mit Autos, die auf der St. Peter's Road parken, ist die Zeit begrenzt (wie in der Auflistung angegeben), aber ich habe immer kostenlose, unbegrenzte Parkplätze auf der Straße direkt gegenüber, dem Boulevard, gefunden. Insgesamt kann ich das Nook nicht genug empfehlen, besonders zum aktuellen Preis. Ich werde auf jeden Fall in Betracht ziehen, wieder hier zu übernachten.

  • Diese Sheringham-Wohnung namens "The Nook" ist wirklich ein ausgezeichneter Ort zum Verweilen. Ich war mehr als zwei Wochen dort, glücklich und sehr zufrieden. Gut ausgestattet mit allem, was ein Gast braucht, fühlt man sich im The Nook sofort wie zu Hause. Sicher und geborgen, so habe ich mich in der Wohnung „3A“ gefühlt. Ich fühlte mich um alles gekümmert, was Kevin und Liz taten, und um alles, was sie lieferten. All die äußerst nützlichen Körbe und Schränke, um meine Sachen unterzubringen, die hübschen Windspiele, die lustigen hängenden Fische, die Bücher und die wunderschönen Ferngläser - ich werde mich immer an sie erinnern, wenn ich an The Nook denke. Ich werde mich an einen ungewöhnlich hübschen Begrüßungsbrief mit herzlichen Worten meiner Gastgeber Kevin und Liz erinnern. Ich werde mich auch an die hervorragende Sauberkeit der Wohnung erinnern. - Meine Gastgeber waren sogar so freundlich, sich die Zeit und Mühe zu nehmen, nach einer Woche die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche zu wechseln, und so dafür zu sorgen, dass ich für eine weitere Woche nett und bequem wäre. Und das war ich auch. Ich werde mich an alle freundlichen Nachbarn auf der St.Peter's Road erinnern. Ich werde mich erinnern, die gelb beleuchtete Uhr nachts gesehen zu haben, wie ein freundlicher Mond, der durch die Fensterläden, die ich halb geöffnet gelassen hatte, auf mich herabblickte, damit ich die Zeit sehen konnte, wenn ich meine Augen öffnete. Damit ich nicht verschlafen kann, wenn ich in diesem kuscheligen Schlafsofa liege, so gemütlich wie ein Käfer in einem Teppich. Nach vielen Reisen können Sie sich vorstellen, dass ich in allen möglichen Betten geschlafen habe. Aber ich habe selten so gut geschlafen wie in diesem Bett im The Nook!   • Ich war anfangs skeptisch, als ich buchte, aber diese Pads sind wirklich unglaublich und so ist der Ort! Also so sauber und warm, überhaupt nicht kalt und wir haben nicht einmal die Heizung benutzt! Ich würde dieses Hotel wirklich empfehlen und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Netter Empfang, aber sehr privat.

Er reagierte schnell und tat alles in seiner Macht Stehende, um mir zu helfen, den Ort spät in der Nacht zu finden mich. Das Haus wird gerade renoviert, aber er stellte sicher, dass mir dies zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung bekannt war. Das Zimmer und das Bad selbst waren sauber und komfortabel. Angesichts der Preise für die Unterkunft in der Gegend war der Wert gut. Vielen Dank, dass Sie es mir unter den gegebenen Umständen so einfach wie möglich gemacht haben. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich in KL übernachte.

  • Ahmed war ein fantastischer Gastgeber - ich kam ein paar Stunden vor dem Zeitplan an und er bemühte sich, mich früh einzuchecken! Die Kommunikation war großartig, er hat schnell auf alle meine Fragen reagiert und ist durchweg freundlich geblieben! Er vergewisserte sich, dass ich die Beschreibung des Anwesens gelesen und verstanden hatte (es sind einige Bauarbeiten im Gange - das Haus wird bald umwerfend sein, wenn mein Zimmer irgendetwas wäre, das man sich ansehen könnte). Das Bad war fantastisch, vor allem die offene Dusche. WiFi eine fantastische Geschwindigkeit - keine Beschwerden über diesen Aufenthalt überhaupt!

  • Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit bei Anthony. Er war sehr hilfsbereit, hat das Einchecken zum Kinderspiel gemacht und war sehr einfach zu kommunizieren. Der Ort ist ein altes viktorianisches Haus (hielt uns über das heiße Wochenende kühl), in dem Sie das Schlafzimmer (bequeme Futon-Matratze) und das Badezimmer (altmodische Handbrause in einer schönen Badewanne) nutzen. Anthony bietet Frühstück und Kaffee am Morgen und saß bei uns und plauderte und gab uns gute Tipps zu der Gegend usw. Wir konnten nichts an dem Hotel auszusetzen und mein Mann und ich können das Hotel nicht genug empfehlen!

    The annexe is set up for couples mainly - no ambulant children for security reasons - and offers self contained living in your own private, tranquil space within the grounds of private residence, hence off street parking.     A lovely characterful and cosy cottage located in a private road in the quiet village of Docking, just a few miles from the coast and beautiful Brancaster beach. With vaulted ceilings, exposed brick fireplace and wooden beams, this is a relaxing and romantic couples retreat. Sexton's Yard has a really lovely welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the front door. Managed by the owners who live close by, a stable door opens into the open-plan living area which has a beautiful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove. With comfortable seating and dining space for four people and a Smart television with WiFi and radio the room is great to snuggle up in with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped and comes with modern appliances and solid oak work surfaces and perfect if you want to cook. Upstairs you will find two stylish bedrooms both with double beds and a shower room. Outside there is a sunny fully-enclosed shingle courtyard garden with garden furniture so you can soak up the rays and dine alfresco or enjoy the homemade cake the owner bakes for you on arrival! Additional Information Bedding is feather. (Synthetic bedding is available, please request this when booking). Due to the age and character of the cottage there is restricted head height in the sitting room which measures 1.73m (68"). Two well behaved small dogs are welcome (small additional charge). Ground Floor: Open-plan living area A stable door leads into the lovely open-plan sitting room/dining area which features painted beams, exposed brick chimney breast with wood burning stove. There is a comfy sofa, wing chair and coffee table with lamp. A window looks out to the front of this charming cottage which has bespoke shutters fitted to the windows. There is a dining table with four chairs and a wall mounted flat screen Smart television with radio and internet. Open-tread stairs lead to the first floor bedrooms. Kitchen A well-equipped galley-style kitchen with shaker style units with oak work surfaces and ceramic sink with mixer tap. Appliances include integrated washer/dryer, slimline dishwasher, larder fridge and electric oven and hob with matching cooker hood. There is a microwave and wall-mounted heated towel rail.   • Wunderschönes, gemütliches Ferienhaus im kleinen Dockerdorf. Ich als mein Partner nahm unseren Hund und fand es der ideale Ort, um die nördlichen Norfolk-Kosten zu erkunden. Strände und Küstenwanderwege sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Ein Lidl-Supermarkt war in der Nähe und für die Last-Minute-Kleinigkeiten ein Spar im Dorf. Die Gastgeber waren sehr gastfreundlich, als wir bei unserer Ankunft zahlreiche Extras bekamen, was ein Leckerbissen war! Würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen und zurückkehren.

At its centre is a large village green surrounded by striking Queen Anne and Georgian buildings, with 2 churches that lie at each end of its broad main street.Unlike many other English towns which are dominated by multiples, Burnham Market has a traditional post office, butcher, baker, hardware shop, fish shop and chemist for all the necessities of everyday life, but there are also over 30 highly original independent and specialist shops, selling a wide range of exciting deli products, vibrant and stylish accessories for home and garden, smart clothes shops, and books old and new. There are some great places to eat, the best being the renowned Hoste Arms which is a 17th Century old coaching house and is open all day. Towels available if required. Tea/ coffee making in room available. central heating for when its cold, Good quality bedding, pillows and duvet. Room 1: see other listing available to book separately. If both booked can accommodate 4. Single room: see other listing. If all booked can accommodate 5. We have 2 beautiful double rooms available for guests And 1 single. Our home is an old converted chapel, and downstairs is fully open plan. Kitchen/ dining: Modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave. Kitchen shared with owners. Very happy for you to cook meals and supermarkets within 5 minutes drive. Large table with seating for 6 people. Bathroom: lovely deep bath with seperate shower cubicle and power shower. Towels available if needed. Bathroom is for guests only and if other bedroom in use will be shared with those guests, but if only you then will be the sole users. We are very happy to interact when home, but equally respect that some guests will want their own space/ peace so very chilled about amount of interaction. We live in a small village 5 mins drive from King's Lynn. There are a few local shops- a post office, general store, lovely fish and chip shop ( that also does pizza and kebabs), a hairdresser opposite which the owner uses and recommends and of course the amazing butcher that people travel from all over King's Lynn to visit and buy their meat. You can get takeaway deliveries- Domino, Pizza Hut, Indian- the only thing we would like is for you to eat in the dining area instead of rooms (or outside in the garden of course). We are 2 mins walk from the little ferry that will take you across the water into King's Lynn town centre- a lovely way to see the sights and do shopping. Parking available on drive- space for 2-3 cars. No parking restrictions in the road and plenty of space to park. Bus stop 2 mins walk away- takes you to the train station, bus station and town centre. Train station 10 mins bus ride away. Ferry into town is excellent- and just behind our house. We have 3 cats- they are all quite young so can have scatty 10 mins and tear about but all are very sweet natured so if you like cats they will absolutely love strokes. If we are away we have a neighbour feed them in the morning and evening but if you wish to do this and avoid being disturbed please let us know. As we have cats, we ask you not to bring any pets with you- sorry! Babies/ children of all ages very welcome. We don't have cots etc but both rooms are big enough for a travel cot if you bring your own.
  • Mein Partner und ich hatten eine schöne Zeit bei Debbi und Gary, sie waren sehr herzlich und einladend und nichts war zu viel Mühe. Wir hatten ein tolles Gespräch mit beiden und haben es genossen, ihre 3 freundlichen Katzen zu treffen. Das Zimmer war sauber, warm und hatte schöne Annehmlichkeiten wie einen Haartrockner, Sky, WiFi und heiße Getränke. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, King's Lynn ist eine hübsche Stadt und mit der Fähre direkt hinter dem AirBnB in die Stadt zu erreichen (Hin- und Rückfahrt £ 1,90, zwischen 6:30 und 18:30 Uhr).

Wir hatten ein schönes Gespräch mit ihnen und sie holten uns Schüsseln und Müsli zum Frühstück und fragten, ob wir Toast wollten. Jetzt für die Bewertung der wirklich Gastgeber des Hauses (die Katzen) gut, sie sind einfach toll, sehr freundlich und auch ein bisschen schelmisch, aber sie haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, sehr willkommen zu sein. Dieser Ort ist unglaublich und so billig, wir kommen wieder!

  • Gary war ein unglaublich gastfreundlicher Gastgeber und es war sehr nett von ihm, mir bei meiner Ankunft eine Tasse Tee zu machen. Das Zimmer war alles, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Obwohl ich davon keinen Gebrauch gemacht habe, ist das Frühstück eine wirklich nette Geste.

  • Wir hatten eine großartige Woche bei Debbi und Gary. Sie sind super Leute und haben uns außergewöhnlich willkommen geheißen. Ihr Zuhause ist wunderschön sauber und frisch und warm. Die sanitären Anlagen waren großartig, unser Schlafzimmer war sehr bequem und sie hatten eine schöne ruhige Lage in der Nähe der King's Lynn Fähre. Wir können das Airbnb nur wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

    Market Square House is the newest property to be restored on the Fring Estate. Once three cottages, a Methodist and a pub, this property has undergone a full renovation project, turning it into a beautiful home. The gardens face out to the Fring Park and terraces are positioned looking into the garden. With peaceful surroundings there is no better place to sit back, relax and switch off.
    Dating back to the 1800s, The Market Square is filled with character and traditional features, which we have kept in our stylish modern but contemporary interior. The Market Squre sleeps 10, with 1 super king bedroom downstairs with an en-suit, 1 king bedroom upstairs with an en-suit, another king bedroom with a family bathroom and another bedroom with 4 single beds and/or 2 double beds and/or 1 double bed plus 2 single beds (please specify at the time of booking). There is a sitting room with a log burner and SkyTV, along with a further connecting drawing room for cozy gatherings, leading to a large open plan kitchen/dinner. The terrace patio area allows for dining up to 10 and leads to steps into an enclosed private garden.
    Fring is a small village just tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The famous Pedders way runs through the estate and all the way to the coast running past pubs and through open fields which makes a lovely day out. There are numerous footpaths to explore and bikes can be rented to go further afield. My Favorite Places I really recommend heading to the beaches and the coastal pubs – there are lots of them and they are really all within 15 mins drive. Loads of swanky pubs and amazing food – just driving along the coast road is a great way to find them and see the beaches etc…

    Katherine and John bought Rose Cottage as a project and have rennovated it as a getaway from the ratrace, hope you like it too. The cottage is cosy in winter and cool in summer, newly rennovated with all mod. cons, so a luxury bathroom, new kitchen, heating and woodburner. Ideal for a couple with dogs (secure garden).
    There is a small parking space in front and bigger spaces nearby. There is a utility room for boots and muddy dogs.
    Just a walk to the Gin Trap Inn, General Store and Garden Nursery. 2 miles to Holme beach. A short drive to Norfolk Lavender for gifts and farm-shop, some great pubs and restaurants and some amazing beachs, walks, bird-watching.
