Amazingly close to the Beach, SeaLife Centre, Funfair, Arcades, Wash-Monster, Swimming pool, supermarket & pubs! Features a sizeable loft room with 1 x Double & 4 x Singles, that can function as a dorm or family room, plus 2 x King-size rooms, 1 x Single room & a Double sofa-bed. Fully-enclosed private garden, extensive modern patio & lawn, kids play house & pet friendly.
The "Little Anchor" is a stylishly refurbished and well equipped, 4 bedroom, 3 storey Victorian semi with a fresh, modern design. Hunstanton with its famous tri-coloured cliffs, has something to suit everyone. The small town centre is walkable in 5 to 10 mins. Local attractions include the nearby SeaLife centre, Funfair, the Wash Monster amphibious boat trips,, the Oasis swimming pool, Amusement arcades, 10 Pin Bowling, Pirate themed Crazy Golf and even a Theatre. There are long beaches with donkey rides, sand dunes, beach huts and water sports. When it comes to ice-creams, fish & chips and great pubs, you are spoilt for choice! Foodies will appreciate the numerous award-winning gastro-pubs in the villages close by. Some of our favourites include The Lodge in Old Hunstanton, The Gin Trap Inn in Ringstead, The Orange Tree in Thornham, The Rose & Crown in Snettisham and The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe. West Norfolk also has lots of nature reserves and country walks - ideal for families, dog walkers and bird watchers & nature lovers. Ben, who stayed with us said.. "When you find somewhere special that you don't want to share with anyone else, it's tempting to skip on the review in an attempt to keep it to yourself, but Simon and Roz were so helpful and so nice and the venue was sooooo good, it would be a crime not to shout it to the heavens how wonderful this place is." The property comprises of: Bedroom 1: Sea facing bay-fronted double with sink, seating area, tea & coffee facilities, USB charging socket. Bedroom 2: Rear-facing double with sink, tea & coffee facilities, USB charging socket. Bedroom 3: Sea facing single.  USB charging socket. Bedroom 4: Large loft family room/dorm with panoramic sea views.  1 double, 4 singles (1 of which is a full height pull-out trundle), USB charging sockets, TV with DVD & Xbox 360 console. The lounge has 3 sofas (one double sofa-bed), and TV with DVD/BluRay, Netflix & YouView. The Dining room has a large refectory style dining table that seats 10-12. A sideboard full of board & card games, and a Bluetooth DAB stereo system. Kitchen with breakfast island & 4 stools. Single electric oven & hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, 4 slice toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, smoothie maker. Utility with washing machine & airer, iron & ironing board. Enclosed private garden with an extensive patio and lawn area. Towels & bedding are supplied. Please bring your own dtowels for the beach. There is a good strong Wi-Fi signal in every room.
The property could hardly be more perfectly located - A mere stones throw from a fantastic supermarket & pub, and a short 5 min stroll to the beach, funfair, SeaLife centre, swimming pool, crazy-golf, amusements, bowling, chip-shop & town centre. Really!!
  • Das Zuhause von Simon and Roz ist ein geräumiges, stilvolles und familienfreundliches Air BnB. Die Gastgeber sind leicht zu kommunizieren und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir einen tollen Aufenthalt hatten. Das Haus selbst verfügt über alle Ressourcen für einen Familienurlaub und tolle Annehmlichkeiten für Babys und Kleinkinder. Alle lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar und es ist sehr praktisch, ein großes Tesco praktisch nebenan zu haben! Wir würden das Anchor House wärmstens empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

  • Wer Hunstanton bleiben möchte, sollte diesen Ort besuchen. Von Anfang an fühlen sich die Gastgeber willkommen, sie zu AirBnb einzuladen. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass nichts fehl am Platz war, wir waren alle zehn sehr glücklich und sehr komfortabel. Viel Glück Leute und alles Gute für die Zukunft

  • Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, bei Roz und Simon zu bleiben. Was für ein schönes Haus! Die Dekoration ist sehr modern und hat alles, was Sie brauchen könnten. Die Nähe zum Meer und die Nähe zum Tesco waren sehr praktisch. Parken kein Problem rund um die Rückseite des Hauses. Danke für einen tollen Aufenthalt!

  • Ein wirklich schönes Zuhause, das für ein tolles Wochenende für eine Gruppe von Freunden sorgte! Es fühlte sich wirklich heimelig an mit vielen kleinen Details wie Kräutern / Gewürzen in der Küche und Shampoo im Badezimmer. Ein wirklich stilvolles Zuhause in toller Lage in Strandnähe! Die Besitzer waren sehr hilfsbereit, blieben in Kontakt, schickten lokale Empfehlungen und reagierten schnell auf alle Fragen. Kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen!

    Forget-me-not Cottage has been refurbished in February. It is a lovely cottage, very cosy and relaxing. It has all the things you could need for a holiday very close by. We are dog friendly at the cottage and welcome your pooch. The cottage will be cleaned thoroughly before your stay. We have buckets and spades for you to take to the beach to make the perfect sandcastle - you’re never too old to make a sandcastle :-) please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
    The cottage is 5 minutes away from the beach, Hunstanton golf club and The Neptune, a Michelin star restaurant (booking required). Also close by is Titchwell for bird watching. Sandingham is a 10 minute drive away. Petals Tea Rooms is great to stop off at for afternoon tea or a cuppa and a slice of cake. Also in Hunstanton Town, which you can walk to is a swimming pool and another lovely beach with arcades and a funfair. 2 minutes walk away is the local, The Lodge, which offers lovely meals and a great beer with garden. There is a play park directly over the road from the cottage and a local shop which offers fresh croissants and other delicious treats.
    Old Hunstanton is the place to be. There are leaflets at the cottage to let you know of the many places nearby to visit. I can also advise you further if you would like details

  • Nach 4 Nächten war dies die perfekte Basis, um Old Hunstanton zu genießen. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt und kurz vor dem Strand befindet sich das Old Boathouse Cafe, in dem wir jeden Tag das Frühstück genossen haben. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und hat eine angenehme Größe für 4 Erwachsene und einen Hund! Mit kleinen Extras wie einer Kaffeemaschine, Tee und sogar Hundekuchen ist es einfach, sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Es war der erste Urlaub unserer Welpen und er schien jede Minute zu lieben! Die hintere Terrasse ist auch eine brillante kleine Sonnenfalle. Ich würde es wärmstens empfehlen und habe schon von einem Gegenbesuch gesprochen!

  • Ein sehr sauberes, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus für einen perfekten Aufenthalt. Meine Schwester und ich (beide in unseren 80ern) waren sehr komfortabel. Lucy hat uns freundlicherweise einen leckeren Kuchen und Milch für unsere Ankunft hinterlassen. Der Strand ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Old Hunstanton ist eine sehr schöne Stadt, wenn Sie dieses Ferienhaus buchen, werden Sie nicht enttäuscht.

  • Sie würden mit diesem Ferienhaus nicht enttäuscht werden. familienfreundlich hundefreundlich ein Pub vor der Tür und ein toller Strand, 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, sehr sicher für Kinder. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sauber und es gibt gute Parkplätze auf der Rückseite eines guten Terrassengartens, der sehr schön ist privat und eine schöne Sonnenfalle werden wir wiederkommen

  • Die Hütte ist schön innen, gut gepflegt und sehr gemütlich und praktisch für den Strand. Parkplätze befinden sich an der Rückseite der Unterkunft. Es gibt zwei schöne Pubs in der Nähe, die beide gutes Essen servieren. Die Strände sind super und sehr sauber, wir hatten ein 4-tägiges Wochenende und es war eine wundervolle Erfahrung. Wärmstens empfohlen.

Ideal gelegen, weniger als eine Meile von der Küste entfernt und in einem Dorf mit drei Kneipen, die Speisen anbieten, einem Feinkostladen und einem Fish & Chips-Shop. Die Hütte war sehr sauber und gepflegt und hatte alles, was man sich wünschen konnte. Nur eine Kleinigkeit, auf die Sie achten sollten - für diejenigen mit schlechten Rücken / gefrorenen Schultern / dumpfigen Hüften usw. - die Betten sind extrem weich (es kann sein, dass Sie es nicht gewohnt sind ...) Ansonsten perfekt: D

  • Wirklich schönes Ferienhaus mit nachdenklichen Elementen in einer fantastischen Lage an der Küste von Norfolk, nur wenige Autominuten vom Naturschutzgebiet Holme Dune und eine kurze Fahrt von allen schönen Attraktionen der Küste von Norfolk entfernt.   • Wunderschönes kleines Ferienhaus in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Bei der Ankunft werden Sie mit einem Willkommenspaket begrüßt. Milch, Eier, Brot usw. Es fällt sofort auf, wie sauber und gemütlich die Hütte ist (der Gastgeber hatte vor unserer Ankunft sogar die Heizung eingeschaltet, als wir im Dezember zu Besuch waren). Tolle Lage für verschiedene Wanderungen, ideal, da wir unseren Hund mitgebracht hatten. Ich würde Sheringham Country Park (ca. 55 Minuten mit dem Auto) und Brancaster Beach (nächstes Dorf gegenüber) als Sehenswürdigkeiten empfehlen. Es gibt auch ein paar nette Kneipen in der Umgebung, falls Sie abends etwas essen oder trinken möchten. Ich werde Corrines Hotel an Freunde weiterempfehlen und könnte es eines Tages in der Zukunft wieder besuchen - danke für ein entspanntes Wochenende!

  • Ich war etwas besorgt über die Buchung dieses Ferienhauses, da es keine Bewertungen gab. Wir haben festgestellt, dass jemand zuerst sein muss! Thornham hatte alles, was wir brauchten, wir frühstückten im Deli, Nachmittagstee im Rettungsboot und Abendessen im Orangenbaum. Alles Gut! Die Hütte war sauber und komfortabel und perfekter Garten und Platz für unsere zwei Hunde. Eier, Milch, Butter und Brot waren für uns übrig geblieben und auch Hundeleckereien - wirklich nachdenklich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Vielen Dank

  • Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Sandpiper Cottage geliebt. Als vierköpfige Familie hatte es alles, was wir brauchten, von den bequemen Betten über die Kaffeemaschine bis hin zur umfangreichen Film- und Büchersammlung. Die Mädchen liebten besonders den Garten und den Spielbereich, der selbst im tiefsten dunkelsten November gut genutzt wurde. Die Lage war hervorragend. Ein kurzer Spaziergang über das Feld und wir probierten die Köstlichkeiten von Thornham Deli, die Village Hall und den Spielbereich. Titchwell RSPB Reserve ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Spot auf! Wir freuen uns sehr, wieder hier zu übernachten.

    Arden Cottage is a charming 18th century Norfolk brick & flint cottage, situated in the heart of Thornham Village within walking distance of the beach & plenty of great places to eat & shop. Located between Hunstanton and Brancaster, it offers three excellent gastro pubs including the famous Lifeboat Inn and award-winning Orange Tree, Thornham Deli café & shop, Drove Orchard Farm Shop, Gurneys Fishmonger & Eric’s Fish & Chips. A village hall with playing fields also hosts various fairs & events.
    Situated within a pretty courtyard this really is a costal hideaway where you can escape from the crowds. This beautiful cottage has been tastefully modernised to keep its traditional charm. The double bedroom with exposed stone wall provides good storage with a set of drawers and wardrobe, adjacent is a modern shower room (please note the staircase is typical of a cottage, narrow and very steep tread – they may not be suitable for the less able). There is great space downstairs with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge with TV and music system. A separate dining room and lounge area which leads out to a private patio garden, perfect for all day relaxing in the sunshine or enjoying an evening BBQ. This is a great space for couples or solo adventures. Well-behaved dogs are welcome, please note the outdoor space is not secure but there is a metal wall ring to tether your dog. There is an additional charge of £20 if you wish to bring a dog. Free WI-FI is available.
    On the edge of the village is Drove Orchards, which has a Farm Shop and pick- your- own fruit farm, fresh fish outlet, lifestyle and clothing shops. Together with Eric’s Fish and Chips and Shucks at the Yurt which are a must. Thornham is perfectly positioned for exploring North Norfolk with beautiful beaches, Nature Reserves and historic houses including Sandringham and Holkham. Adjacent parking is available at Old Hunstanton and Brancaster beaches. The nearby village of Brancaster Staithe offers sailing and the Brancaster Staithe Sailing Club. Driving a little further along the picturesque coastal road you will find the renowned Burnham Market and Wells next-the-Sea together with many other quaint villages all offering their own array of restaurants, shops, galleries and tourist attractions.

    Plumtrees is a wonderfully renovated cottage offering stylish open-plan living, coupled with warmth and character from the open fire. It is ideally positioned to take advantage of the amazing views to the saltmarsh, sea and surrounding countryside towards Brancaster Golf Club and Titchwell Nature Reserve - a bird watcher's paradise. There is a stunning en-suite master bedroom with double height vaulted ceiling and Juliette balcony with far reaching sea and countryside views. Enjoy the vista from the comfort of the king-size bed or the comfy chairs. The rear garden is predominantly enclosed and has a large terrace, ideal for sunny afternoons. The garden leads down to the village pond - a haven for wildlife, with nesting moorhens and ducks - a perfect place to sit and enjoy a well-earned ‘sundowner’! There is so much to see from this beautiful cottage. If you enjoy lovely views, nature and wildlife then Plumtrees is definitely the cottage for you. Additional Information Please Note - The village pond is situated immediately beyond the rear garden of Plumtrees. The pond is accessible from the lane and the gardens of adjacent properties including Plumtrees. Children and vulnerable adults must be supervised at all times. Please also note that the garden is not fully enclosed so dogs may need to be supervised. One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Ground Floor: Entrance Area With coat and shoe/boot storage, open to the kitchen and open-plan living area. Kitchen A modern and contemporary fitted kitchen with windows to the front, side and sloping roof allowing light to flood into the space complemented by a light blue colour scheme and open rustic shelving. Family room A lovely light triple aspect room with sliding doors leading onto the large terrace and full height glazed windows to the rear with views of the garden and the sea and marshes beyond. There is a large comfy futon and a mix of additional seating with shaker style rocking chair and a variety of books and games to enjoy. To the east there are wonderful countryside views towards Titchwell Nature Reserve and Brancaster Golf Club. There is a cleverly designed concealed wardrobe to the rear of the bed and adjustable bedside lighting. An opaque glass door leads to the en-suite. En-suite shower room With opaque glazed door and sensor lighting, feature port hole window with views to the sea and salt marshes. There is a large walk-in mains shower, WC, wash basin and shaver point. Bedroom Two A triple aspect room with dormer window with views to the rear garden and sea beyond. Twin 3ft beds would suit either adults or children. There is a large chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe giving ample storage and houses an iron and ironing board. Bedroom Three A lovely cosy room with shaker style furniture including a double bed.     Sutton Cottage is a beautifully renovated, tastefully decorated cottage, with a spacious reception area with open-plan sitting room and cosy wood burning stove, along with kitchen and breakfast bar. The kitchen opens into a large garden room with dining area. The garden room has french doors leading onto a sun terrace, perfect for 'al-fresco' dining. The garden is fully enclosed and 'dog-friendly', and there is also a wonderful summerhouse to relax in should the weather be too hot! There are two double bedrooms, one of which also has a single 'bunk style' bed, and a beautifully fitted bathroom with rainfall shower. Sutton Cottage is set back from the road and has a large frontage with space for two cars. The driveway is shared with neighbouring Gardener's Cottage, which is also available to book (sleeps 6+1). Subject to availability, larger parties could book both cottages together. Additional Information Sutton Cottage and Garden Cottage can be booked together, subject to availability - ideal for families and friends wishing to enjoy a Norfolk break. One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). There is also a raised bespoke single bed (approx 7ft in length x 2ft 6") ideal for adults or older children and has a separate side barrier, if required. There is a window to the rear which overlooks the garden and a porthole light and mirror. Outside: The rear garden is fully enclosed and has a gorgeous sun terrace, accessed from the garden room with steps leading up to the raised walled garden with further terracing, herb and planting borders. There is a wonderful summer house with indoor seating and lighting, a great place to escape on a hot summers day! There is also a washing machine and a clothes airer for guests use. The garden can also be accessed by a side pedestrian gate, ideal when returning from a busy day at the beach and with wet and sandy dogs and children! Sutton Cottage is set back from the road and adjoins neighbouring Gardeners Cottage with a shared parking area, two spaces per cottage.

    Gardener's Cottage is a beautiful cottage and offers excellent accommodation for families and friends.     We have 5 friendly Mups n Pups! Fireman's Cottage was built in 1623 and sits in the grounds of Hunstanton Hall and Park. The grounds are only open to the public on Thursdays and even then people must be on foot and keep to the top roadway. A 14th Century moat runs through the garden, separating the cottage from Hunstanton Hall Tranquility in an idyllic location! Such peace and quiet to hear and see wildlife: Muntjac deer, Buzzards, Owls etc The Norfolk coast is a big draw for birdwatching
    PLEASE READ carefully :) ... Within these historic walls reside 5 friendly, furry DOGS/pups. Because we are aware that our communal hallways/landings are dog/puppy runways and therefore far from immaculate, we are not fussy about people entering these areas in their shoes; nor do we wish to be judged as such, especially as we are forewarning people. If a completely spotless environment is what you require, then our humble abode will not suit your style :) This is very much a traveller's place for rest and respite, a living home, not a glamourous hotel. The Eves bedroom is on the 2nd floor which has a lovely view through the velux window. The room has a Kingsize bed, single wardrobe for hanging space and drawer space in bedside tables. There are two solid oak high stools to sit and look out of the window as well as a small armchair underneath a reading spotlight. There is also a desk and computer table where a laptop could be used. There are no kitchen/cooking facilities but a fridge and electric kettle are provided along with cups and saucers and drinking glasses, and the use of a microwave could be made available along with dishes and cutlery, but the guest(s) would be responsible for their own washing-up. A sponge-cloth, washing liquid and a teatowel are provided in the bathroom. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom for the sole use of the guest(s). There is a DVD player and we can offer a small selection of films etc to borrow. We can also provide some board games which can be requested upon arrival (Scrabble, Backgammon, Monopoly etc). Because of the nature of the location, guests must respect the privacy of the other properties and residents and not go wandering around. Please take note again: 5 friendly dogs live here. We can accommodate a guest dog with prior discussions, because of our gang and the bedroom generally being kept dog-free:) 1 mile walk to the beach, door to dunes. Motorbikes and bicycles can be securely parked
    Although the area is named as Hunstanton Park, it is privately owned by the Le Strange Estate, who equally own Old Hunstanton beach. There are a few residents in the surrounding dwellings who, like us, own their own properties including sections of the roadway, it is the woods and farmland that the Estate own. There is an incredible amount of fascinating history surrounding the area. The village of Old Hunstanton originates from the 13th Century. It is divided by the coast road. The Cottage being on the side of the original village, duck pond, 14th Century Church and the Hall of course. The village has places to eat and drink:- Caley Hall Hotel, The Lodge, The Ancient Mariner, Le Strange Arms Hotel and The Neptune (Michelin star restaurant). There is also the Post Office/village shop and The Old School Hairdressers/Barbers and Beauticians. The beach is approximately 15 minutes walk from door to the dunes across the golf course. There is the lovely Old Boat Cafe by the beach, opposite the RNLI station Old Hunstanton beach is fantastic for sunsets, walks and joins onto the RSPB sanctuary and Nature Reserve.. The Victorian town of Hunstanton is just round the corner, with local shops, supermarkets, garage and services etc.

    Nestled along a private driveway and set back from the road, this pretty flint-walled detached cottage built in 1845, has been beautifully and artistically-styled. Spacious, light and bright and just minutes from the sandy beach in Thornham and a short walk to the vast selection of restaurants, shops and pubs, this is a perfect family and dog-friendly coastal retreat with pretty enclosed garden. You will know when you walk through the door that you have chosen well. Poplar’s has a wonderful welcoming feel and being an artist, the owner has decorated every room with flamboyance and flair. Each of the living spaces boast gorgeous, sumptuous sofas and chairs to relax in and the main living space has a gorgeous open fire, perfect for warming your toes on cooler evenings. Plus there is a large television with Netflix and an adjoining games room for the children to hide themselves away in and entertain themselves with table tennis table, DVD player and Wii console. Cooking will be a pleasure in the well-equipped kitchen. With everything you need, you will be able to rustle up a storm here and dine on the large trestle table in the light and bright garden/dining room which overlooks the pretty garden. Pick up some locally caught fish from Gurney’s fishmonger’s and some fruit from the pick-your-own farm at Drove Orchards at the far end of the village and enjoy cooking together, or simply spend a lazy afternoon reading with a glass of Pimms in the tranquil and peaceful, pretty enclosed garden. Sleeping comes easy here and after a day on the beach or exploring the coast you will appreciate the super-comfy beds.     Philip's place is located in Holme-next-the-Sea, England, United Kingdom. You are staying a few minutes walk from Holme Beach - at the last house on Beach Road (the original Peddars Way) - so can swim in the sea at dawn, during the day, at dusk or even by the starlight. Walk with your dog for miles. You'll be right by the Norfolk Coastal path, Holme Dunes National Nature Reserve, the Bird Observatory and the Hunstanton Golf Club championship links course. You can hear the sea from your front door. We are in a Special Site of Scientific Interest (SSSI) and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), where the Wash meets the North Sea. It's a couple of minutes to the Norfolk Coastal path - so walkers walk to Thornham, Brancaster or further and hop back on the bus which drops you at the top of Beach Road on the A149. You'll soak in the dunes, marsh and sea - or walk along the Hun river and see resident and migrating birds. You could also hear the natterjack toads and see butterflies, moths and dragonflies, as well as a large number of interesting plants including mulleins flowering in our wild garden. If you are a golfer, you can play Hunstanton Golf Club's superb championship links course. It's 125 years old and rated as one of Britain & Ireland's 'Top 100' courses, with the rolling fairways nestling in a stunning landscape of dunes and links grassses. You can also play at the Heacham Manor. If you secure a round at the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club at Brancaster, you'll need to park your car and walk when the tide is high. Various military remains from WWII can be seen at Holme, including the remains of a target-railway used to train artillery. Much earlier remains have also been discovered including an ancient walkway, Roman pottery and saxon fishtraps. In 1998, a well-preserved Bronze Age timber circle, now known as ‘Seahenge’ was uncovered by high tides. The timbers were treated in the Mary Rose laboratory and are now in the museum at King's Lynn. King's Lynn was a Hanseatic town - and is worth a visit. Seahenge 2 is difficult to discern - and often covered by sand. Walk to the cliffs at Hunstanton for fossil hunting and to see one of 2 boat wrecks easily visible at low tide. The other is on Holme Beach between Gore Point and the Firs. Birdwatchers may see wintering thrushes on the sea buckthorn, or avocets, a beautiful black-and-white wader with upturned bill and long legs, on the freshwater. Wheatears and warblers are common in spring and finches and thrushes in the autumn - sometimes there'll be scarcer migrants such as the ring ouzel, wryneck, yellow-browed warbler or barred warbler. It's a great place to seawatch for gannets, skuas, terns and divers. Knot, golden plover and oyster catchers can be seen on the beach. Our wild garden is alive - with our sparrows and starlings nesting in the roof. It makes the front door and the bench a little untidy sometimes! If they have a safe migration, you will also hear the cuckoos in spring and the turtledoves in summer. ✯ 2019: Cuckoos arrived safely - and one is still calling in July. ✯ The turtledove have safely arrived from their perilous migration. You'll hear their distinctive purring and may be lucky enough see them too. ✯ On warmer nights, the Natterjack toads call. ✯ This is the only part of the east coast of England where the sun sets over the sea, providing lovely views in both summer and winter. Our favourite places to see the sunset are a stroll up the coastal path to Gore Point, or a few minutes over the golf course to a seat on the top of dunes. Das Bett ist hervorragend und riesig - viel größer als ein Kingsize-Bett. Das Frühstück ist im Preis inbegriffen und wird im Deli im Erdgeschoss serviert. There is a electric wood-burning effect stove, large comfortable L-shaped sofa, leather armchair, coffee table and a freeview digital TV and a DVD player. Kitchen/Dining: a contemporary high quality kitchen which has been carefully planned to ensure that guests have all they need. The bespoke kitchen has cream-painted units with granite work surfaces and has been extremely well-equipped with a built-in electric oven with an induction hob, full height integral fridge/freezer, integral dishwasher, built-in combination microwave, built-in dishwasher and built-in washer/dryer. There is a kitchen table with four chairs. First Floor The stairs are not steep and there is a wooden hand rail. Both of the bedrooms are generously sized and beautifully presented with each having an individual style and a unique look. Unlike many cottages, both of the bedrooms have been designed as if they were the master bedroom and no guests should feel as if they've got "the short straw".     Thornham At the western end of the North Norfolk coast, Thornham is situated on the scenic A149 coastal road, roughly half-way between Hunstanton and the Burnhams. This is a village of fewer than 500 inhabitants, however it is now increasingly popular with its excellent selection of places to eat, the unspoilt coastline and nearby RSPB reserve at Titchwell. There is a beautiful unspoilt beach for those willing to hike the mile or so out along the coastal path, but the characteristic landscape here is one of marshes and salt water inlets. Thornham had a prosperous harbour 200 years ago (particularly for smugglers it seems), and still has a small boat harbour today, as well as rugged Thornham Creek, which is a popular spot for artists and photographers. Down by the marshes the Old Lifeboat Inn, built in the 16th century, has recently been taken over by Marco Pierre White and provides excellent food and drink throughout the day. In the centre of the village, locally caught seafood is served at The Orange Tree pub opposite All Saints church – an impressive building with 15th century foundations. Thornham has a third good place to eat - The Old Coach House which serves delicious home-cooked pizzas and is ideal for families. Thornham has a great range of local amenities with an excellent village deli and cafe, a childrens' playground and a tennis court. Just along the coast road heading towards Hunstanton is Drove Orchards which opens seasonally for the sale of a wide range of locally sourced fresh foods from its award-winning farm shop and has an amazingly wide variety of pick-your-own fruits.

    Heron cottage is part of a 17th century barn conversion that has been lovingly renovated and decorated by its new owners to cater for all guests - a fabulous gateway to North Norfolk set in the idyllic village of Thornham. Heron Cottage is particularly well suited to young families. The back garden is the largest at Manor Farm, fully gated with BBQ and backing on to a children’s play area (fully visible from the living room through the sliding French doors). The play area sits within a larger fully maintained communal field. At the back of the field is the famous Thornham Deli along with a larger kids’ play area, tennis court, village hall, and cricket pitch. The cottage itself is well equipped with FREE WIFI, TV, DVD player and a number of indoor and outdoor games to help keep the kids entertained. Heron Cottage is a fabulous holiday destination all year round. Sexton's Yard has a really lovely welcoming feel as soon as you step inside the front door. Managed by the owners who live close by, a stable door opens into the open-plan living area which has a beautiful exposed brick feature fireplace with multi-fuel stove. With comfortable seating and dining space for four people and a Smart television with WiFi and radio the room is great to snuggle up in with a glass of wine. The kitchen is well-equipped and comes with modern appliances and solid oak work surfaces and perfect if you want to cook. Upstairs you will find two stylish bedrooms both with double beds and a shower room. Outside there is a sunny fully-enclosed shingle courtyard garden with garden furniture so you can soak up the rays and dine alfresco or enjoy the homemade cake the owner bakes for you on arrival!   • Wunderschönes, gemütliches Ferienhaus im kleinen Dockerdorf. Ich als mein Partner nahm unseren Hund und fand es der ideale Ort, um die nördlichen Norfolk-Kosten zu erkunden. Strände und Küstenwanderwege sind nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Ein Lidl-Supermarkt war in der Nähe und für die Last-Minute-Kleinigkeiten ein Spar im Dorf. Die Gastgeber waren sehr gastfreundlich, als wir bei unserer Ankunft zahlreiche Extras bekamen, was ein Leckerbissen war! Würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen und zurückkehren.

Brancaster Bakery Cottage is a newly refurbished, self contained, 1-bed flint and chalk cottage adjoining The Old Bakery in the heart of Brancaster village. Guests have off street parking and use of large attractive gardens. It is only 2 minutes walk from The Ship Hotel, which serves lunch and dinner. The spectacular Brancaster Beach with its miles of golden sands is an easy walk along the Marsh Path.
    Brancaster Bakery Cottage (reputedly the flour store for the bakery in its day) has a fully fitted kitchen with new AEG dishwasher, washer-drier, oven, hob, Bosch Fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver socket. The luxurious bedroom has a king-sized White Company bed and super-comfy mattress, with Egyptian cotton Designers' Guild bedding. The living room has modern sofa and easy chair, dining table, coffee table and flat screen TV. Guests have their own outside sitting area with table and chairs. Or guests can make use of seating in the extensive garden. Tea and cake will be offered on arrival.
    Brancaster is a jewel set in North Norfolk's coast. It has a beautiful local beach with miles of wide sand and open skies. The historic Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is here and in the local villages you will find sailing at Brancaster Staite, shopping in Burnham Market and all the other attractions of North Norfolk. The RSPB bird sanctuary at Titchwell is just down the road. Bring your binoculars! Nature lovers will find much to see, and the famous Norfolk skies give superb star-gazing. The area is exceptionally well provided with excellent pubs and restaurants, so you will always find fabulous food and drink if you don't want to self-cater. It is truly a foodies paradise. When in season the famous Brancaster mussels are a plumptious treat. Other fish are also caught locally. The White Horse in Brancaster Staithe has it's own smokehouse and Gurney's fish shop has two outlets. Drove Orchards and the Thornham Deli are just down the road if you do need provisions for picnic lunches or supplies to cook dinner.

Das Haus selbst war genau wie beschrieben und bot uns den perfekten Ort, um die wunderschöne Küste von North Norfolk zu erkunden. Thornham hatte einen schönen Spaziergang entlang der Küste, 3 großartige Pubs, in denen köstliches frisches Essen serviert wurde. Es ist komfortabel und gut ausgestattet und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Küstenweg, Sümpfen und tollen Stränden entfernt - was unser Hund wirklich genossen hat! Es war gut, einen geschützten, privaten Parkplatz zu haben, und wir haben den Holzofen bei kaltem Januarwetter sehr geschätzt!   • Die Fotos werden Sophies Cottage nicht gerecht - es ist ein wunderschöner, stilvoller und geräumiger Ort, an dem Sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen. 8 von uns blieben dort und wir hatten viel Platz zum Essen und Zusammenhängen. Die Küche ist gut zum Kochen ausgestattet. Es war makellos sauber und Notwendigkeiten (Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Seife) wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Haus ist ca. 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand und 1 Minute von einem schönen Pub entfernt. Wir hätten uns keinen besseren Aufenthalt wünschen können.

This luxurious and stylish Grade II listed 300 year old flint cottage, can either be a romantic love nest for two or a wonderfully unique homestay for four. Nestled in the heart of this quiet village opposite the pub which serves good food and only a short 20 minute stroll across the golf course to the sandy beach, Piper Cottage is fabulously located and filled with original beams, thick stone walls and a wood burning stove. Climb the Norfolk winder staircase to the first floor where you’ll discover the first of the two beautiful bedrooms; a stunning king-size bedroom with quality linens, soft feather pillows, duvets and soft furnishings. Next door you'll find a super shower room and a separate WC. Up a further winder staircase you'll find the twin bedroom which is located on the second floor. Equally as stylish, it also has quality linens with soft feather pillows and duvets. You are also rewarded with distant views of the sea on a clear day. Outside you have a pretty south-facing terrace to enjoy, with garden furniture provided so you can soak up the rays and enjoy a leisurely coffee. On a practical note there is also a spacious utility room which comes with the property which is located in an outbuilding, just a few steps from the row of cottages. Here you'll find a washing machine, Butlers sink, barbecue base and additional fridge/freezer. Just a short drive away there are numerous pubs and restaurants, shops and galleries in both Thornham and Old Hunstanton and of course the whole of the coast is just waiting to be explored. If you enjoy golf, then head to the famous links course at Old Hunstanton, a short five-minute drive away or you can walk the course from Holme. A large bed room with a king size bed, all Egyptian cotton linen and towels are provided. Plenty of storage plus dressing table. The kitchen is fully equipped with dish washer, microwave, hob, oven and fridge. A small freezer can be found in the hallway cupboard. There are communal washing machines and tumble dryers which are free to use for guests. The lounge is equipped with wifi, flat screen TV, dvd and music system. There are some guides, maps, books, games and dvd's left for guests to use. There is a small table for dining with views out to the sea. The bathroom has a bath with a full height electric shower. In the garden room downstairs there are extra chairs and deck chairs for guests use. There is a torch provided in the hall way cupboard for evening refreshment strolls and binoculars for wildlife viewing.
    Every visit to Brancaster is special with the amazing sandy beach, fantastic award winning pub The Ship Inn, great sunsets, and a wonderful opportunity to be close to to renowned RSPB centre at Titchwell. Close to the shopping delights of Burnham Market and a host of great local eateries, attractions and beaches. Wells 6 miles, Burnham Market 3 miles, Thornham 3 miles and Holkham 5 miles. all serviced by the local friendly coast hopper bus service so you can walk and talk as far as you wish then jump on the hopper home. Everything is chilled and relaxed here in Brancaster. Enjoy the spectacular coastal scenery, local eateries, and shopping this area affords.
