Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

Tigh Dubh

Tigh Dubh is a renovated 19th Century vernacular building on a croft, close to The Edinbane Inn, 8 miles from Dunvegan, 13 from Portree. The cottage is a building with history, character, comfort and a genuine sense of place. Our croft and Tigh Dubh is designed to help you slow down and experience Skye at its best. Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in The Guardian Travel's '10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland', get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a mountainside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle, close to the Isle of Skye. With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

The Tin Sheds - Orange Shed - Coastal holiday home

The Tin Sheds offer spacious, modern accommodation with spectacular waterfront views. The homes are a short 20 minute drive from the Skye Bridge and offer a centrally located base from which to explore the island. A supermarket, shops, cafes, restaurants, plus a pharmacy & fuel station are conveniently located in Broadford village, a 7 minute drive away. Key attractions including Portree, the Old Man of Storr, the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery are all approximately 30 - 40 mins away.

Studio-Komfort-Ensuite mit Dusche-Meerblick

The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

Gael

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

This 5* luxurious architect-designed property has panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay and at high tide you'll be just metres from the water's edge. Watch the teeming birdlife on the shore , enjoy the cosy woodburning stove in winter, and look out for the Northern Lights from the deck. With the shops and restaurants of Broadford, Skye's second largest village within walking distance, its the perfect base to explore Skye and Lochalsh.
