The Temple of Evangelistria and the bell tower are located at the Castle of St. George. The marble inscription found on it testifies that the temple was built in 1580. It is an Etonian Baroque church where the medieval past was the metropolis of the capital. Wonderful remarkable post-Byzantine icons decorate the temple as well as a wood-carved icon screen.
