The ski slopes start from the 1,487 meter long T-cork lift Hornindalsheisen, one of the longest ski lifts in Norway, and the new 500 meter long plate lift SpareBank 1 Rekrutten. From the top of the Hornindal lift at 750 m.a.s.l. we have two groomed main runs of 1,650 metres: Fossehenget on the west side and Tverrløypa on the east side. The latter with floodlights all the way, which makes it the longest illuminated descent in Nordfjord/Sunnmøre. Several parallel tracks and different descents provide a large selection of variations and degrees of difficulty. Hornindal Ski Center is considered to be one of the region's most snow-sure ski centers. Combined with snow production, we plan for a good ski season for our guests. The area offers large areas suitable for free riding and is a good starting point for many different summit tours.
