Bryggeloftet is a "legendary" restaurant in Bergen thats been serving traditional food to both locals and visitor for over 100 years. Our definite pick for local and traditional food in Bergen. The restaurant is located at historical Bryggen and the atmosphere just needs to be experienced.

It is located in a highly touristy area, with an traditional exterior and an interior that doesn't spoil the illusion. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try whale meat here (although I personally loved the mussels)

On the second floor is a rustic restaurant with tasty Norwegian food. Reasonable prices. Try the Moules-frites, - in my opinion the best mussles in town :)
