Very central location in the Maritimes, 2 hrs to Halifax, 1.5 hrs to Charlottetown, and 1 hr to Moncton. Newly renovated, very private cottage situated on 28 acres on the Tidnish River. Several private trails that lead you to the Tidnish River, where you can swim, canoe, kayak or go fishing. 5 mins to the public beach and boat launch. Pets considered. Please contact host.

Welcome to the Barn by the Beach Cottage with access to a beautiful beach along the Northumberland Strait only a short 3 minute walk from the "barn". The cottage's main floor is open concept living, dining, and kitchen complete with a bathroom. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms. Outside is a wrap around deck where you can enjoy your coffee or cooking on the bbq and relaxing with family and friends. In the yard, you can have fun playing games and end the day gathering around a bonfire.

Propane stovetop and oven. Furnished deck and BBQ. Although there is no plumbing (outhouse), large fresh water jugs are provided for your drinking and washing needs. Bonfire pit. NATURE ESCAPE, peaceful country setting. Newly renovated large modern/country basement apartment (feels like home away from home) in our house with keyless entry, separate private entrance. All amenities needed. Beautiful 17 acres green landscape with ponds. Walking paths. Centrally located only 20 minutes to the city of Moncton/Dieppe, 30 minutes to Shediac, 20 minutes to Nova Scotia. Less than 1 km from ATV TRAILS. Plenty to do in Shediac, Bouctouch, Sackville, Hopewell Rocks.

Cozy waterfront cottage on the Tidnish River!

Our cottage is on the Tidnish River, a tidal river near Baie Verte, NB. There is a lot to explore here, including a huge sandbar that appears when the tide goes out. You can use the provided kayaks to explore the wildlife along the river. Within 10 mins of our place there is a winery, convenience store, take-out, ice cream shop, and trails. There is a public boat launch across the river. It's a great place for water sports, and there is a fire pit outside for campfires.
