Come visit and go back in time. The child- and pet-friendly Blacksmith is located in The Village between the Whiskey Still and the Smokehouse. Nearby is the Woodshop, Cider Mill, Shingle Mill, Victorian Cottage, and Train Depot. Originally owned by George Carney, the Village was built to house craftsmen selling their wares. Located just 6 miles south of Owensville, Mo this newly renovated farm house will provide you the countryside escape you have been looking for with no shortage of amenities. This 2 story farm house was originally constructed in 1888 as a multi family boarding house before the Kreter family purchased it in the 1930’s. In 2021 we made the decision to completely restore the house and bring it to its modern day glory.

Sweet little cabin by a little pond at the edge of the woods. Large sunny windows, real bed, (with room to bed a child or two down on the floor) tea pot, easy chair, composting toilet, AC, WiFi, hiking trails. There's no shower in the Cabin. Our water is from a deep well, tested, certified ... and delicious! There is an above ground pool, trampoline, and a trail down the hill Very child friendly. We maintain a fragrance-free facility, so no air "fresheners".
