Chambls Shack provides wanderers with a slow stay, overlooking the sandy beach at Verona Sands. Chambls is a genuine shack experience, complete with 1970’s kitchen, open fireplace and light shades. Plenty of wobbly bits and sloping floors, but we’re watertight, warm and a whole load of fun. Situated 1 hour from Hobart via Huon or Channel, Chambls welcomes travellers who want to truly relax and revisit the 70’s in luxe linens, open fire and a bottle of red. Or bring the kids and hit the beach.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. Listen to the ocean and the birds and enjoy glimpses of the magnificent sunrise and sunset across the bay to Freycinet and Schouten Island. We live next door, but the Studio has been positioned to ensure your privacy. You have your own beachfront spot to relax on a deckchair. Dolphin Sands is a beautiful beach and offers endless walking and swimming opportunities. Swansea is a 30 minute walk by beach or 10 minutes by car.

The Hide - Private Waterfront Bruny Island.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island.
