We had an amazing stay. One little mixup but the owner was so quick to fix it. Answered instantly. Thw little touches and notes, supplies, ice cream in freezer, case of water, cute paw matts, were awesome. it's a beautiful place, giant beds, super comfy. There were 2 big showers and a giant tub. full soaps, shampoo, conditioner, face wash. She really went all out and we appreciate it. Great stay at a great price. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I stayed in the cottage for one night in a cozy one-room setup, and it was such a lovely experience. The place was beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting — it felt like a perfect little retreat. Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in After almost three years of Airbnbs around the world, this one in Canada tops them all. We stayed in both the Lookout (the little house) and the Pine Lodge (above the store)—and didn’t want to leave. The Lookout felt like a cozy sanctuary: garden, sauna, spotless, fully equipped. The Pine Lodge had a steam room (huge bonus!), comfy couches, a big dining table, and a fire always going. But what made it truly special were Krystal and Madison—the kindest, most caring hosts we’ve ever had. It felt like arriving at friends’, not strangers’. During a freak ice storm, they moved us to a backup-powered house and even brought us food. Just wow. Local tips: • Cawaja Store: best coffee, insane ice cream, and local broths, pies, soups. • Mums Restaurant: old-school diner, fresh, cooked-to-order food. • The Friendly Corner: lovely for sunny outdoor meals.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay at Lynn’s. She kindly let us used some snowshoes which was a must to explore the snowy nearby trails. The sauna and jaccuzi were really appreciated to warm up after a day in the cold! Would like to come back in the summer or fall as it must be stunning as well!

Anuhea was an amazing host. The place is as described, beautiful & cozy. Short waltz to downtown Peterborough. Did not have enough time in our quick visit to do the sauna, but what a bonus!!! We would stay a hundred times over & bigly recommend these wonderful people & their guest suite.

Elijah’s place was very spacious, homey, clean, and as described; the bed was very comfortable and all the appliances worked as described; we didn’t need to ask for anything additionally and they were kind enough to offer us a checkout time of 12pm which meant we didn’t need to rush in the morning; will highly recommend to everyone wanting to visit the local trails, beautiful patches of nature and Vettä spa, as it’s practically walking distance

Our stay was wonderful. Peaceful and enjoyable. Communication with Sean‘s team is great, which is comforting when you’re travelling with young kids. Any questions or issues you bring forward are tended to immediately. The team has really great follow. Beds are super comfy. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. Kitchen fully stocked as noted in the listing. Private. Amazing scenery. Sunset is spectacular! Highly recommend. Definitely going back. Have already booked!

This place is amazing and beautiful. The decor is stunning. Bed is massive. Communication is clear and check in is easy. But overall I would recommend. I am coming back here for sure. Also parking is right at the front of the building.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

We loved our quick stay, and would highly recommend! The Airbnb had all of the amenities listed and looked even better in person. As a group of 6, we were very comfortable, lots of room for games and a relaxing night in after the spa. Great location!

The condo was very comfortable and contained a wide variety of amenities and necessities required to make our stay comfortable. The owners responded promptly to our inquiries and provided very detailed information about the check in and check out information. We are very pleased with the owners and highly recommend this condo.

The master bed is like sleeping on a cloud. The owners were very responsive and generous. Loved the clubhouse but should NOT have brought a toddler.

This Lux 4bd Condo was exactly as described. We had a wonderful time having both units with 6 ladies. The place is beautifully decorated and we found everything we needed. Jordan was very responsive to any of our questions and always so helpful! The back deck was so peaceful looking out into the woods. It was a beautiful 5 min walk to the Vetta Spa which we also highly recommend!!

Our stay at this cozy condo was just what we needed. the location is perfect, very close to the popular ski hills. 15 minutes to mount St. Louis moonstone, and horseshoe valley ski resort is basically in your backyard. It is also a 5 minute walk to the Vetta spa. The condo it self was very clean. The hosts have thought of everything from extra towels, linens, games (indoor and outdoor), and appliances/cooking necessities. The little details and treats left for us were so appreciated. The pool/spa/hot tub area is all updated, and an amazing perk during your stay. It was a great way to relax after a day of skiing. Dorota was a great host, all check in instructions were clear. The rules and expectations for check out were reasonable. We’re looking forward to planning our next trip here next year!

Our stay at Tuan’s place was as expected! It was great having so many things to do all in one place. The hot tub and pool table were a huge hit for our group! Tuan and his family were very responsive, which made our check in and check out very easy. The only constructive feedback is the basement could be cleaned more thoroughly, and information on the shuttle bus would have been helpful. We ended up walking to the village for dinner on Saturday night, which was about a 20 minute walk. Overall, Happy Home was the perfect place to stay for our friend’s getaway weekend!

We had a wonderful stay. The home is very bright, clean, and modern. The kitchen was excellent — well-stocked with everything we needed — and the games area was awesome. The hot tub was a great bonus, and the two wooden terraces and fire pit made the outdoor space very pleasant and relaxing. Inside, everything was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The host was very responsive and provided clear, helpful instructions for the house and its amenities. We’re very happy we chose this place.

This was a great home with lots to do inside. We enjoyed all of the games and pool table. Shuttle service was easy to use and only a short ride away to the village. The beds were comfortable and lots of space inside for our family. Brendan was friendly and responsive!

We recently held our annual family birthday weekend at Natalia's place with a multi-generational crew that spanned 1.5 years to 90 years young! This incredible log cabin met all of our needs. The bedroom on the main floor meant an accessible space for our great aunt, the games room in the basement was such a fun space for our teens. The sliding doors to the wide front porch and the giant yard with fire pit, play structures and trampoline gave us lots of space to play. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and bathrooms on every level was really helpful. Natalia was very responsive and kind as a host. Balm Beach is gorgeous and walkable. There are some really cute restaurants and coffee shops close by (shout out Cawaja General Store and Balm Beach Bar & Smokehouse!) No place is perfect - I note the stairs to the basement are rather steep, and a few suggestions were shared with our awesome host, including about kitchen amenities, but this is a pretty spectacular place to stay for a group.

Took my family away for an extended weekend and ended up choosing Jer’s place to stay. The kids enjoyed all of the things to do: pool table, games, fooseball, sauna and the hot tub. The weather didn’t cooperate as we would have hoped but we still had lots to keep us entertained while there. Cool set up from the new construction addition to the old farmhouse. Kitchen was loaded with anything you would need to prepare a meal and the space was clean and tidy. Thanks for the opportunity to enjoy your space Jer, we all had a blast!

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

Fantastic hosts and a beautiful place to stay. Hosts were very informative, responsive and flexible. Home was clean and exactly as depicted in the photos. The location is perfect for a relaxing get away with lots to do in the surrounding area. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing time at Hala's place, it is in the most majestic cottage setting less than an hour from the city. there is lots to do around the area and we enjoyed a day at the nearby Vetta Spa. Hala is an excellent host who was very responsive and was very flexible when it came to both check in and check out times. I would highly recommend a stay at Hala's place, we very comfortably slept 6 people for a bachelor party weekend and the cottage could even probably accommodate a slightly larger group. Thanks again for making our weekend Hala!
