Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

With no less than 105 m², one of the largest apartments for 2 people in the center of Bruges! It contains a spacious living room, a cozy sitting area with a wide screen television. There is also an 'open' kitchen with an induction hob, full oven, separate microwave oven, dishwasher and a fridge with freezer compartment. 'Carmers' also has a bedroom with a 'queen size' bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet. In summer, you can also enjoy a private roof terrace.

The ground floor offers a private bedroom with a spacious ensuite bathroom, a personal kitchen with a Nespresso machine, fridge, and more, along with a small courtyard. The Tower is situated in the historic centre of Bruges, in a quiet neighbourhood at some eight minutes’ walk from the ‘Markt’. In the 18th century the tower was reconstructed as a ‘folly’, characteristic of the period. We are proud to say that our family has supported this heritage for more than 215 years. In 2009 we reconstructed it using refined decoration and catering for all modern conveniences. Last but not least: free private parking in our big garden
