Wow. This private escape Garth and Rebecca have decided to share is just beautiful. From the moment we got there it was peaceful. Garth and Rebecca are very responsive and willing to help with any questions you might have. Everything is thought of down to the smallest details. I honestly can't say enough good things about my stay! Thank you to Garth and Rebecca for sharing this wonderful escape with us and we will definitely be coming again.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The jacuzzi and sauna were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings made it a great escape from the city. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The black fox cabin was beautiful with luxury nature vibes. Great for a relaxing weekend get away to recharge the soul.

Host made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of games and activities for the kids, all our questions were answered ahead of time. Very positive experience, will recommend to friends!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

The house is exactly as pictured, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances one could hope for. All of the beds were very comfortable with clean bedding. The house boasts a perfect view of the lake and is peacefully tucked into the forest. Our family stayed to visit Sandhills Nursery nearby for Easter activities for the kids. The house is also driving distance to a lot of great hiking trails and outdoor activities. We will definitely be back!

My stay at the AAT has very swiftly placed itself in one of my top Airbnb stays! The cottage was exactly as described, accessible, beautiful and full of amenities for guests to use. The location itself is breathtaking, located on a bluff overtop the French River (the stairs are not for the weak but so worth it to relax on the dock by the water!) We took advantage of the dock, the hot tub, the fire pit and we especially loved that we could cook dinner while hanging out in the dining area all together with the open concept. The road to reach the house is a bit of a rough terrain but this is all outlined in the listing and didn't bother us, just a heads up to make sure your tires on your car are on tight! Heather really seemed to think of all the details with this Airbnb and we did not go without. A short drive for lots of different hikes (French River Provincial Park and Killarney Provincial Park) or the perfect place to cozy up in the rain with a book on your birthday! (I did both!).

Good value. We were looking for something humble and didn't want to break the bank. This is a very nice spot with that special something. We were snowed in our entire stay but the space was well set up for that, with TV's in each room with internet and apps. Really kind host. I would recommend this place and we would book again.

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

We had such a great time both indoors and outdoors. In the sunshine we were able to explore the property and on rainy days we were able to enjoy the indoor space playing pool and endless boardgames. Would highly recommend this cozy space!

Patricia was a helpful host, very friendly and accommodating. Her place was peaceful, had a beautiful lake view. It was cute, cozy with rustic vibes. It was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. Also, the location is close to Screaming Heads and different hiking trails perfect for seeing the autumn foliage.

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!

I want to sincerely thank Taylor and Jenna for such a wonderful experience. The cabin was absolutely amazing—the layout is thoughtfully designed to fully immerse you in the beauty of the surrounding nature. If you're looking to disconnect from the chaos of city life, this is the perfect retreat. From the moment we arrived, we felt a sense of peace and calm. One of the highlights was the forest walk included in the stay. Although it’s a self-guided experience, Taylor and Jenna have clearly marked every possible trail, making it easy to explore without worrying about getting lost. Finding our way back to the cabin was always simple and stress-free. Best of all, we were able to enjoy this five-star adventure with our beloved Leo, our 1-year-old golden retriever. It meant so much to share these moments with him. We truly hope to return again soon!

It was great staying Misty River Cabin. The area was beautiful. My family enjoyed the stay and our dog love all the outdoor space to play fetch. Close drive to bracebridge made this location perfect for us as it allowed us to visit some of the local breweries there. The Cabin itself was beautiful and cozy. Would definitely come back in the future.

Everything was fine. It an isolated remote community but that is fine with us. It was a little chilly the first few nights, but they turned on some heaters before we arrived, which was fine. You’re looking for peace and quiet. This is a good place.. I tried fishing by the docks, but they didn’t get any bites, but there is a bridge nearby and you can park and I caught a lot of fish in that location

What a gem. This is a beautifully rustic spot in the woods for a gentle getaway on the water. There’s a bit of a scramble up a hill from the brand new dock (with amazing swimming and lovely afternoon sun!) to a sweet little cabin - everything you need for a comfier-than-camping holiday. There’s all the kitchen basics you need, and the wood stove makes it super cozy. The lake is quiet and the neighbours friendly. It’s a great spot for a lazy day in the dock, or a more adventurous day trip into Massasauga provincial park. Geoff was very responsive when the power went out and offered to come up to fix it right away. But we preferred to spend our last night in the warm glow of candlelight and wood stove. Highly recommend.

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

We spent labor day weekend at the bunkie and absolutely loved it! It had everything we need with incredible views. The outdoor shower was lovely.

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!
