The Cottage

A rustic cottage in the middle of Darthia Farm. The farm sits along the shore of West Bay and a short walking trail brings you from the cottage to the salt water. We grow organic mixed vegetables, herbs and flowers, raise sheep, ducks, chickens, pigs, and work with Haflinger horses. We have a farm store that is open everyday except Tuesdays and Sundays. The property is 15 minutes away from the Schoodic Section of Acadia and is surronded is by countless hiking trails and access to fresh water.

From the back deck you can enjoy watching whales in the bay, seals on the beach, and eagles soaring the sky. Additional wildlife include moose, deer, bear, lynx, and fox. Enjoy a campfire in the backyard or on the beach and lose yourself in the details of the Milky Way spreading out above you or the occasional Aurora Borealis.

Take it easy at this unique waterfront getaway, located in the town that invented the lobsterboat -- Jonesport, Maine! This authentic lobsterman's cottage features 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Full, 1 with 2 Twins) -- 1.5 baths, and your own private beach! Access to deep water dock and mooring (if you're arriving by boat). All creature comforts including full kitchen, separate dining room, and comfy living room with TV. Large private lawn with a firepit and amazing views of ocean.

For the adventurous, 2 kayaks are available for exploring serene West Bay.

THE CAPTAIN'S CABIN The Captain's Cabin a is totally new, one bedroom construction, that sits on the edge, literally, of the St. Croix River located at 27 Lamb Cove Lane in Robbinston, Maine and overlooks historic St. Croix Island and neighboring New Brunswick, Canada. This is a very private two person cabin located 2/10 of a mile(.32km) from U.S. Rte. 1. NOTE: There is a cot with bedding supplied for the third person. NO PETS allowed.
